Remarks

The college is based in the heart of DU.Being the most prestigious college among all the other ones in DU, made me go with this college.Fees structure being the best part as you get to study among the best minds of the ocuntry at such a nominal cost.Excellent placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum was truly designed in accordance with the needs of current day business scenario for me being a Bcom hons student. It helped me immensely in uplifting my aptitude both academically as well as culturally.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

Various companies visited our campus, including the top ones like Ernst and young, TCS, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, SNB and DEUTSCHE BANK, for the posts of tax assistant, audit assistant, digital developer, On site database manager.

College Events

We had different departments and societies to encourage people to uplift extra side of their life.Participating in all such societies helped us imensely in developing and boosting our confidence levels at all points during the graduation. It helped us foster the pessimistic view that we earlier could perhaps developed for not being able to muster all the confidence we needed. In short, we had all sorts of exposure, be it academic, social, extracurricular and all of that.

Campus Life

We had all the basic facilities including Wifi, badminton courts, libraries, auditoriums and many of them.We were provided all the things to help us meet our basic requirements in the university. We also were provided with all sorts of technical assisstance to maintain easy student administration.

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

The companies coming for internships are great
The experienced faculty who came from IIMs
The experienced clubs and their guidance

Dislikes

There is bit of mismanagement experienced,
There is last minute information available at the end moment
Disclarity in information throughout the whole semester

Placement Experience:

It is okay and it is based on luck of the student more than hardwork. You also have to network super well to get into good dream companies. It is a good place to get it out of luck through ATS sysytem.

Wonderful life experience that can't be forgotten.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

The whole undergraduate admission process of DU is through CUET, except a few exceptions like Law and Enginnering. The Electronics course require Physics, Chemistry and Maths from CUET, 250 marks each and one must obtain 500+/750 to get this course. Reservation benefits are also available. This was my third preference in the preference list after B.Tech (IT&MI) at CIC and CS Hons at Hansraj, which I could not get due to cutoff difference....Read More

Talks with reality

Hansraj college is one of the best colleges under University of Delhi. I have applied for almost every college which offered my course but my dream college was Hansraj for always. In the first round of counselling session, I got ramjas which was my 5th preference according to my list but I upgraded for the second round and then I got hansraj, my dream college. I chose this because the very first reason was its infrastructure, its academic excellence and our most loved shakrukh khan who also studied from here. I didn't get rejected from any college for my course but the other courses for that I have applied for, maths honours, I didn't get the seat in top colleges due to my low score for that course. CUET is the only and most preferred exam according to which admission is allocated to every individual. Cutoffs depends for every other courses and for the admission, the very first step is you must need to appear in CUET exam with proper subject combination according to ur preferred course. Then after result declaration, you need to prepare preference list of your preferred courses and colleges then according to your score, college is allocated to you then you have to accept the seat allocation and need to make the fee payment. Admission process is complete after the document verification at last....Read More
