Remarks

Popularity in education and discipline, one of the great heritage of our city. Popular in many areas. Extra caricular activities for the female students. There is sooo much greenery in college. Christmas celebration. Opted this course because I was interested in subject which I chose.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is too hectic, the time when we start getting knowledge about it then the exams arrives at the same moments, it's all about writing assignments and giving exams. Some facilities are too active about our course (English Department).

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience

I don't know anything about placements opportunities in college because I asked or heard about this from anyone.

College Events

Technical things are good campus extra curricular activities but all management is handled by students and they do it in a very good manner. There is fest conducted college member students which is great and on high level. All the student tries to participated in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, haven't got any scholarship but I had filled scholarship form in first year which was very hectic due patient level of office staff. They don't care about it whether you fill it or not.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is good but sports facilities are just satisfactory because everything depends on the season for sports according to sports faculty. Wi-Fi is also just satisfactory, library size is good but we hardly get books of our course in it, equipments are fine.

Perspective as a VCW student

Likes

Facility and infrastructure is really good . In facility we get good internet connection e.g , talking about labs too , we get well equipped class and materials needed for the test , sometimes it may be bit defective aur old.
Teachers are the best things about this college. Course curriculum are designed in the way that you cover everything about the topic infact , sec , aec courses are also designed in students favour only .
The campus area and environment is good too , you may find the campus area small but it's really beautiful and peaceful , there is gym , canteen , ground with basketball and badminton court . You may not get the top notch facility but its not worse.

Dislikes

The first thing could be interior and mangement of washrooms. Canteen could be more better and provide more options . In summer , other than library we get no other sitting area , except the open classroom which are in tolerable in heat.
The bus management is worse too, I left the bus service because of their management.
The fests are not worse but could be organized in more better way .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally find the curriculum to be well made and in favour wit the students. In teaching methods , the subjects that demand practical exposure should be given tasks to be conducted on the real life situation, like the opportunity we get during internship . They should provide task like that .

Great learning environment, experienced faculty, and value for money education.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive, highly experienced, and always ready to help students with their queries.
The course fee is extremely affordable and provides great value for money for students in this region.
The campus has a peaceful learning environment with a good gender ratio of around 1:1 for boys and girls.

Dislikes

On-campus placement opportunities are limited, and students mostly need to look for off-campus jobs.
Campus infrastructure needs modernization, including better Wi-Fi access and updated lab equipment.
More practical exposure and industry-oriented training programs should be added to the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

THE OXFORD OF THE EAST

Likes

The fees is affordable in comparison to Delhi University.
The scholarship scheme is definitely helpful for those who are economically weak.
The main campus has a central library so its quite helpful

Dislikes

The books in the central library are quite outdated
The lack of infrastructure in the affiliated colleges of AU
No merit based scholarship scheme available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

Bad college for BTech

I applied for IET, HBTU, and low rank NITs since my percentile was around 90. But during counselling, I gave preference to Branch over College so I choose LU because I got CSE-AI here. In order to get here in LU, you have to fill in for UPSEE/AKTU counselling. Cutoff has increased now....Read More

Good Faculty but not so good placement

The addmission process is very simple, you need to give JEE mains examination and then you need to participate in UPTAC counselling. There are some direct addmission seats also but chances of getting it is very less as the direct addmission are held on the basis of seats left after UPTAC counselling....Read More

No, I didn't apply for any other College. No, I didn't avail any quota for admission. No minimum age restriction, you should have a bachelor's degree in chemistry and for admission, you have to score at least 75% marks in the entrance examination. On the day of counseling, they ask for our original documents and fee for confirming the seat....Read More
