Remarks

I opted for IT branch because of interest and the package it provides. This college is the best private college in country and helps in complete growth of a student which includes technical and non technical stuff. Also it has really really good infrastructure and the quality of teachers is excellent. Apart from that the sports facilities and the platform it provides, mess and hostel facilities are the best in the country

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus was the lastest one prolly the best you could ask for which included basic knowledge from all the respective branches. Enough industrial exposure was provided. The name of the faculty which was given some of them were good some of them weren't

Course Fees: INR 405000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Google amazon microsoft oracle and well known companies visit MIT every year in search of talented students. Satya Nadela CEO of microsoft is graduated from MIT Manipal

College Events

4.5

There are two events which are conducted by our college every year. Techtatva is technical and includes coding competition, a robot fight competition and much more. Revels is cultural which includes sports competition, treasure hunt, dancing programs, arts and drama.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed for any scholarship of loan facilities as of now and I don't know anything about the latter as well. Candidate securing less than 1000 rank in entrance test gets scholarship apart from that if your family income is below 8 lakhs fee you can apply for fee concession

Campus Life

Infrastructure is the best you could ask for like it has the most modern buildings, a full size cricket ground, full size football and hockey ground, handball ground, basketball court, gym facilities. All equipments in the lab are new and cleaned on a regular basis. The library is a 5-floor building full air conditioned. Wifi facilities aren't that good but still good enough

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is very very good. There are around 23 hostel, 2 food courts and about 6 home mess hostel rooms are maintained with proper hygiene and are cleaned every week. There are different kind of rooms including ac non ac, water cooler on each floor tv rooms table tennis tables and carrom boards

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. So it is tough as engineering seats in MIT Manipal maybe high but competition to be in top 1000-1200 means competing with nearly 100k students....Read More

MIT manipal - a complete review(hostel, nightlife, fees, academics)

I chose this college because this was the best option I had among others that I got accepted into. Comparing to others, MIT has much lesser intake and a much better campus life. I made it into all the private colleges that I applied to, but not colleges like NIT and IIT Other colleges I got accepeted into are BITS, VIT, CET, LPU, Thapar. I didnt choose BITS because of the higher fees. Eligibility criteria of MIT is 60 percentage in boards and students have to write MET, our entrance test, there is 50 percentage weightage for boards as well....Read More
