Remarks

Mount Carmel college is one of the most renowned and prestigious colleges in Bangalore, it has a very nice environment, the campus is huge and clean filled with greenery and the staff is very efficient.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mount Carmel college is affiliated to the Bangalore university, we also have field trips for each combinations and also the college hosts a lot of webinar’s and seminars to make the students really understand the practical working of the college.

Internships Opportunities

I’ve opted for an internship in college dunia through Internshala website, I’m currently a campus ambassador. The selection process involved filling up forms and the best ones get selected and tasks will be given to complete.

Placement Experience

MCC has tie ups with the big 4, and huge Multi national companies like Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, Pwc etc. MCC provides students with internship opportunities from 2nd semester, we have a lot of entrepreneurs, journalists and social media influencers from our college Like Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, fara D'Souza etc.

College Events

Mcc has one the best campus life in Bangalore, you meet people from different places of India, there are also foreign exchange students present here, we have a Queen fest James culah which we organise every year and also the place is centrally located to shopping movies, food street etc.

Campus Life

We have a library, 2 parks, WiFi is available, we have labs for the science stream and also a basketball playground, there are trees everywhere in the campus and you will immediately feel refreshed as you walk in the campus.

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

It was good professors and friendly teaching staff
Campus life is good, it provide new opportunities and has events and various clubs
Everyone here are good and friendly and is a lovely place to study

Dislikes

Hospital is far from college, which is again not an issue as they send bus service
It can give and provide more opportunities
Hostel facilities can be improved and they can build few more lecture halls

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Dislikes

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
