Campus Interviews are good here with 100% job guarantee. The campus is beautiful with beautiful greenery which is peaceful. Cosmopolitan campus which helps us to interact with people of different social cultures. They also have both technical and cultural festivals every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus is usual like every other college. They have Industrial Visits but from my personal experience, I have went to Industrial Visit only once. I got no other opportunity(I'm in 3rd year). They have FFCS, where we can choose our faculties and subjects. Although it sounds amazing, which is actually a headache choose as per our wish because of over population. The level of anxiety a student has while choosing their slots is different. Also the timings are 8am - 8pm You can any time between this.
Placement Experience
100% placements Campus Interviews are pretty good. IiT companies usually take many students and if you're really interested in core companies of your branch, you have to work hard became it's not easy to get in and also doesn't pay good enough salary. So choose wisely.
College Events
They have so many clubs and other facilities. A dayscholar can join any club but for self exploration of yourself, you have to be a hosteller. This is the drawback in here. Although technically we can participate in the events but it's impossible in reality because the timings won't allow us. Even the cultural fest, Rivera, the event goes upto 2 in the night which a day scholar actually can't participate To become board member of any club you have to work for them during night. The night slips will be provided for the hostellers. As a dayscholar you can stay but can you actually stay? That's impossible. So I would highly suggest if someone wanna join VIT Vellore campus, prefer Hostel.
