They should stop trying to copy the academic structure of foreign universities when they can't even maintain a proper portal for registering subjects.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course cirriculum was really messed up. it keep on changing and there was no proper guidance to the students. The students are supposed to choose their subjects, faculty and time slot which was a big pain point. The portal stops working all of a sudden and the seats get filled for the subject. The classes were in buildings far away from each other. Choosing classes in the same building was a big challenge. It used to feel like booking a tatkal ticket during holiday season
Placement Experience
No idea. There's a CGPA cap of 6.0 in order to attend placements, I never had a CGPA of 6 in my entire college life.
College Events
The events are good but the college management always looked for profits instead of encouraging the students to develop their skills. They keep forcing the students to get sponsors, etc There were a lot of internal politics between the students and management(faculty) Someone who keeps saying good things about the faculty and befriends them only gets to be a part of the organising team.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very expensive and it keeps on growing exponentially every year. I just took the example of the fee charged when we fail to maintain attendance. Rs.7000 and a semester wasted. Same case with exam fee as well. I dont remember the exact number but the fee charged for mess, hostel were very expensive so that people started living outside. so they've introduced a new rule that all the students are supposed to stay in college hostel only

Campus Life
Cultural activities are entirely initiatives by the students. There used to be gender diversity but there were strict rules by the management saying that girls and boys aren't allowed to touch each other, etc. There used to be PDA guards who used to whistle at couple if they were seen walking together or hugging, etc. They also used to be fined for such things

Admission
I secured a rank in the entrance exam, and was called for the second counscelling. I chose a stream called Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Bio Informatics. They've advertised the branch as an equilavalent if not even superior to Computer Science where there would be 60% CS cirriculum and 40% Bio informatics. They also said that we wouldn't be having any wet lab subjects and only computer simulations. But the reality was different. I realised that they've advertised it in such a way because no one was choosing the stream. Our batch was the first batch for that stream.
