REMARKS
I chose my college because in the year 2018, only JLU (abbreviation) was offering this course (journalism and mass communication) and not other colleges in my city other than a govt. college which was really degraded by that time period.
PLACEMENT WING
Well, university keeps on introducing several placement offers, internship market and alike opportunities all round the year, so its fun to grab them only demand be what you as an individual can offer like the talent and skills you possess. The companies do come but they are too *No-no* to take more than 10 students, the competition gets really high. Although the network of the university is brilliantly formed in the market.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
I Wasn't a hostetler. Although, whatever I've been observing I think they live a kickass life, they're offered to AMAZING food, they can always have sights of amazing atmosphere of JLU, in the nightime, JLU just litup with mesmerizing lights all round the campus. Its just amazing. You're always on the green side when you are a hostetler of JLU. No strict rules, flexible system, truly enjoyable.
CAMPUS LIFE
Its brilliant, it is globally inspired, gives you international vibes. It is iconic, huge, vast, great interior, great infrastructure. It is just exceptionally phenomenal. You can see on internet. The only nice thing about JLU with few others is its fascinating atmosphere.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
My university has been ranked central India's no 1 university, it surely is a centric point of the state in the education. Its vast in its network, national and international. My school that is Jagran school of journalism & communication annually offers the global education experience with its tie up with London school of arts, the USP of my university would be the location it is established at. The environment is so near to nature, there are trees everywhere. The infrastructure is phenomenal, we have our iconic Pyramid building, you can check on our instagram page or in the internet. The faculties are friendly and supportive. The only issue I faced was some of the teachers seemed in a lack of full information about their given subject, this irritated me.
INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES
There are never stipends offered, I got stuck in my internship process with brands like Zeemedia, heycloudy, and platforms like quint as corono tookover the world.
COLLEGE EVENTS
Campus life has been aesthetic for me since Its so close to nature, I'm a nature freak. Events on university level has been frequent but on school level, I almost felt it was NIL. We have annual sunburn event that includes celebrity DJs and popular celebrities. It ain't happening from last 2 years though. Its like JLU is always open for setting up an event only when you come with a concept so its more student driven thing than a university giving thing.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
Yes, there are scholarships available, my topper best friend entered with a scholarship itself, it was because she scored more than 95% in her 12th board. So the university do have scholarship for more concrete details, it will be fruitful to visit the site.
