Remarks

College is too strict in the internal examinations, so whoever scores less marks scores less in internal exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good. Most UG courses in the college are triple main.So we get three main subjects. Cannot say, curriculum is fully upto the industry-specific knowledge, but it is OK. Also academic wise, there will be two projects in the entire course duration, in which we can make the projects even with the topic which syllabus is covering just the outline.

Placement Experience

2.5

College gives importance to the placements of PG rather than UG, especially for MBA course. About 10% of UG students ,getting placements. Some recruiters are South Indian Bank, wipro,Hdfc bank. Any students of the college can participate, in the recruitment drive, according to the recruiters terms and conditions.

College Events

2.5

This college gives more importance for the events than the academic studies .There will be IT fests, Management fests.etc.Also cultural fests and intra college fests are also conducting. Almost 20% of the students of eachcourses participates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible only. My fee was 26000/ semester. Mode of payment is through cash.some courses, they ask donations, that will vary according to each courses. Transparency in fees collection. Additional fees are exam fees , and lab fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships at all.If someone qualifies University Rank No.1 then he/she may get the fully fees refunded. Educational loans will be available.

Campus Life

Irrespective of gender, all gets equal opportunities. Students from North East, Africa and NRI's get admissions . There are debates and competitions, but only smartest get benefits from these.Labs are OK. Also workshops regarding latest as well as subject wise are also conducting from Industry persons. Students from all religions are studying peacefully.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni networks are not at all fully active. Had met many seniors who had backlogs for clearing the arrears during examinations

Admission

Got the admission due to few seats were left. It is a triple main course.so I selected. Maths, computer science and statistics were the subjects. For the courses like MBA ,there will be entrance test. Admission procedure is 1.just enquire about course details in reception 2.If the seats are left, they say to make payment and book the seat, 3.If courses like MBA/BBA, there will be entrance test or based on the recommendations.

Faculty

2.5

Initiatives from the college is not good. Also there are good teachers, but only 50% of them are knowledgeable in teaching ,rest 50% teachers are not upto the mark. Minimum 2 teachers for each subject, as more divisions are there. Age wise is average of them is 30 or 31 years.About 95% hold no industry experience or certifications.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
