Good infrastructure and amenities, also best for extracurricular activities. One of the most reputed in academics. 100% placements and has good companies associated. Recommended by my seniors when I was looking for colleges.

Nice variety of courses, some faculties are good, some are bad which is to be expected of any college. But we get to choose oir own faculties so in the end knowledge is power when it comes to academics. i.e. choosing the right course at the right time and under the right faculty is sadly more important than individual capabilities when it comes to maintaining cgpa.

Companies come in different categories according to their packages. While all good companies have the criteria of 0 backlogs and 8.5+ cgpa, there are few who have lesser criterias whilst providing a good package. As for companies, there's many to name but in general, most look for IT skills, especially any non core technical company like consultancy.

One of the best for extracurricular activities, has several clubs and chapters which are like a family of their own. Has several events throughout the year, both cultural and technical. Our techfest has events on a national level except for the robowars from the club robovitics which is an international event sought out by many teams around the globe. Most events have a small participation fees unless you are part of the team organising them, which is possible from second year onwards. Both cultural and technical events have several esteemed and famous chief guests.

There's a general scholarship based on your rank. The original tuition fees is 4 lakhs pa, which can be brought down to 1lakh pa

Best in infrastructure. Unlimited wi-fi. Some hostel blocks have power cuts. Cost is high for hostel and mess and scholarships are only provided for tuition fees. Has several grounds, nets, courts etc. Has several gyms and an indoor sports center. Has a swimming pool too. Though the courts, grounds and one of the gyms are free to all, indoor stadium and swimming pool require extra funds and membership. Labs and equipments are really nice, never faced a shortage of equipment or systems for any labs. The college library has some record of being the biggest library in a college. Permissions can be acquired to stay in the library till midnight for both boys and girls. Similar permissions for labs can be aquired, till midnight for girls and till 1am on paper for boys but boys deadline isn't strict, just return before your warden wakes up in the morning.

Hostels and roommates are alotted randomly in the first year and can be chosen from second year onwards. The order in which hostel rooms are to be chosen by students depend on their CGPA. Thus a person with a bad cgpa usually depends on someone else to make a roommate out of them. The newer blocks have better infrastructure, that and the distance from academic buildings are the deciding factor when it comes to choosing hostel blocks. Some unfortunate students have to walk 20 minutes to reach their class, while others take mere 5 minutes. Most blocks have a mess within, some don't. The students there have to go to other blocks for their meals. The mens hostel and the girls hostel(thats what they are called) are seperated by a train track and several fences. The rooms come in different sizes depending on the number of occupants, which vary from 1 to 20. The fees varies accordingly from 30k to 120k and mess charges are from 45k to 65k.
