Remarks

VIT is well known for it's exposure to the work environment and opportunities in all fields for all students and this interested me very much, i opted for B.Tech CSE as I've always loved computers and VIT Chennai has a wonderful lab and faculty set up to best learn this subject.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is updated yearly as per trend and market changes and this really helps us be prepared for industry 4.0.Industrial exposure is well balanced and we get plenty of opportunities to learn and understand how the industry is currently.the faculties are a mixed bunch, some are good and some aren't, in this regard its like every other university.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are great and many large MNCs like google,PayPal, Microsoft,etc hire students from VIT Chennai every year.the highest package so far is from Microsoft for 41lakhs.

College Events

The campus life is good, full of greenery and lush with trees and shade all around.The technical and cultural fests like Techno-VIT and vibrance are very famous and around 3000+ attend as a whole.Techno-VIT is a technical fest and vibrance is a cultural fest including many famous pop stars and artist from around India/the world.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is great, the WiFi speed is wonderful and gets upgraded often to help handle the usage of students.Many air conditioned classes exist but classes mainly take place in non-AC rooms.all labs and libraries are air-conditioned.

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Like to study the subjects in a practical way as well as getting skillfull everyday
Liked the events and the participation of the students in every aspect of the event

The working hours in clinical area is way more high and not able to tolerate
The hostel rooms should be cleaned every week atleast
More restrictions for girls only and there is a partiality among the students in gender

The subjects are quite tough but can read and learn with a little bit more effort over those subjects and so the exam will be held for 3 hours continuously and the exam pattern in like semester type and so the course in more useful

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
