Remarks

Banasthali Vidyapeeth overall is a very good college in terms of quality of education, extra curriculars and the most important security nowadays. It has a number of rules and regulations that are there just to ensure our well being and keeping in mind our security since we stay away from our homes. It has a very rich sports facilities including proper equipment for all the games and also has a GYM keeping in mind the health of students. I chose this college because it has a rich heritage, quality education and decent placement as well. Also I have always listened to good things about it and now that have been in this college I myself agree to those things. For admissions they conduct an entrance examination every year with questions from sujbcts PCM and also has a separate section of logical reasoning. The questions are pretty decent and if you are preparing for jee you will find them quite easy mostly they are ncert based. And then once selected I'll be colleges for choice filling.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

As far as Btech is concerned, the quality of education is quite decent the syllabus is according to the UGC guidelines and programming languages like C, C++, Java and python are taught here by teachers having proper experience and knowledge. BTech computer science department has q number of teachers and you can always go and solve your doubts there and they are friendly in that case. Some teachers are even the pass out students of this college that still stay on campus with us for the whole year since it is a residential campus but you are not allowed to visit their homes. Their proper contact details and emails are provided to you in case you need them in future. The periodical exams are of 10 marks conducted twice in a semester and questions are not too tough but are standard questions and semester exams are conducted in the month of December and April and if you study honestly it won't be difficult for you to score well in your exams and get a cgpa above 8-8.5 everytime.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

As per my knowledge roles in your respected stream will be provided and at times the company in which you intern will hire you for a full-time job. Projects in programming languages like python, java can also be included in your resume. A decent resume will result in getting you a better job. So you must start adding value to it from your first day itself. Join extracurricular activities for adding more skills to it in terms of dance music, foreign languages certain diploma courses are also there for you to complete and add their certificate to your resume. Immense Opportunities are there for you, you just have to utilise your time properly and plan things accordingly to that. Hope you have a happy college life. For more details you can refer to college dunia they have more detailed information and it helped me to know more about my college before my admission.

Placement Experience

4

Placement is quite decent with almost 95% of students from CS/IT gets placed and rest includes students who either opt-out for studying further or do not sit in placements due to some reason. So if you have good cgpa and knowledge about the concepts of your branch then you'll surely get placed. Average salary is around 4-5 lakhs per year and the highest was 33 lakhs per year. Reputed companies like Accenture, Goldsmanshaft, Delloite etc visit the college every year. I Personally feel to prepare for gate and placements simultaneously.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite decent as compared to other private colleges. Total fees for BTech 4 yrs will be around 7.5-8 lakhs i.e 1,75,000 rupees per year including your mess and hostel charges that (approx 50,000 included in the total money). Internet facility is also available but you have to get your laptop registered for that and it cost you around 2000 rupees per year the only drawback is that it will not work during your college classes because they want you to attend it every day. Financial assistance in terms of scholarships is also provided to the students who score well. These scholarships are in the memory of your founder Mr HeeraLal Shastri. On-campus placements are decent and internship opportunities are also provided by the college on your 6, 7, 8th semester last year the highest stipend paid to a student for a month was 70,000 in her internship.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest here is the Apaji fest conducted in the month of November on the birth anniversary of your founder Mr Hiralal Shastri (called as Apaji in college). It will be like a Mela with numerous food stalls, accessories stalls and rides it is a 3 day festival with bhoj at the last day in which you are served the traditional Rajasthani food (dal baatti churma, rice etc) Other than this the college has a number of clubs and societies and they conduct their individual fests time to time not at grand level but you'll enjoy it. The college has a central library with more than 7000 books, reading area and AC computer labs for online material and apart from these, there are degree specific departments each having its own library with all facilities. Classrooms are also decent. The different clubs and groups include team innovation, team corona, team ayaam all these are the technical clubs here and a magazine is there named "The falcon" run by them. Horse riding is also there.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostels provided to the BTech students are good. It has mostly 3-4 seater rooms with one or two 6 seater rooms. These are fully furnished with a wooden bed, almirah and a study table with book shelve included the hostel allotment is done in the week ahead of counselling and the process is not too hectic but you have to stay in aline for a long time if you arrive late. PG facility is not there, you have to stay in your campus it self and day boarders are there who stay with their family near the 10 km radius of college then only day boarding is allowed. Non-veg is not allowed in the college premises so the meal in the hostel is pure veg including different types of vegetable available in Rajasthan. Deserts and special food items are there on Tuesdays or during any special festivals and events so Tuesdays are the most awaited Time of the whole week. Canteens are also there with good quality and delicious food. In time Is 8:00 pm so after that you won't be allowed to stay in canteens.

Interview Experience

5

Written examination as I told earlier was not too difficult if your concepts are clear I'll be able to score high. They will ask your stream preference is the form and according to your marks, they will provide you with those streams. In my letter it was mentioned that I have scored good and I can get any of the first 3 mentioned streams similarly according to your marks you'll get that letter and once you reach you'll have your time slots for the entry in the admission department and there is no group discussion but there is an interview where they do not ask you any theoretical question they just ask you nor al questions about the college and how's your view on the same and towards the rule and regulation they just test u as a person and teachers sitting in that room are quite friendly. I don't know why people rush into these process you need to stay calm as at the end of this you'll be seated in a room and your name will be called according to your marks and you'll choose your stream.

Obviously there is a campussing process that gives the students the opportunity to get their desired job. You can also go off campus to get bigger opportunity, but it will be on your head only that means it's a risk. But the average placement provided by the university is 6 lakhs and the highest one is 72 lakhs per annum.
