REMARKS
Nice atmosphere for studying and an exposure to a wider opportunities of all kind. The placement for computer engineering is decent. The faculty and University as a whole supports research,projects and other extracurriculars. You get enough time to do everything.
PLACEMENT WING
Companies like 1. TCS 2. Persistence 3. Unisys Are the prominent ones in computer engineering. The placement cell works hard for better placement overall.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
Hostel rooms are below average but you have to pay a very little for them that justifies it. Food in hostel is bizzare. Hostel facility is given based on reservation and income you have to pay about 30000 yearly for hostel and food.
CAMPUS LIFE
1. Cricket - No external exposure but you can have fun with classmates pretty big ground but it is inaccessible during rains as it rains a lot. 2. Football - Same concern regarding ground and exposure. 3. Basketball - not a proper court available but you can play anyway 4. Badminton - have a proper court. There are carrom boards and table tennis tables you will get chances in college level and University level competitions and department support too but don't expect more as it's an engineering college. The building is good but isn't maintained that well. Canteens and hostels are way below average.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Course curriculum is up to date with up to date machines and softwares as well as well aware faculty. Faculty from other departments will also support and help you in all kinds of stuff like projects and studies
COLLEGE EVENTS
If you are looking for a good crowd, big cultural fests and campus life this place isn't for you. Said that it hosts a very good technical fests called cynosure which is a one of a kind experience. I loved that.
