Take One is one of the best platforms for the people who are willing to do Mass communication because it has the best faculty best infrastructure and a college worth joining. It is one of the best colleges in Delhi. Firstly I had a conversation with one of the faculty on college Dunia after that they introduced us to TOSOMC after that I talked to one of the faculty of college then she arranged an interview with the director Mr Imran Zahid Sir and then after few days I got a confirmation mail about my admission. The reason I selected this college is because of there practical works they help alot in the practical aspects also in theory but in our field, we need to have more practical skills they have skilled and knowledgeable teachers. I used college Dunia while selecting this college.
I choose BJMC because I had mass media as my subject in 12th and I had a brief knowledge about this field the basic and I had an interest in this field as I love communicating with people doing debates etc. It has the best faculty and you know when your guide is best you are going to have a great experience of what you are studying they are so friendly so understanding and mostly well settled and knowledgeable in their field. There are only 30 Students in each batch. We have guest faculties who are doing great in their fields and also visit our college to teach us. Because of this corona pandemic, we are not being able to visit the college and study but still, the faculty is doing alot by providing us with online classes and helping us understand the things in every manner. Because the session has started late we're having the exams according to that. If you study hard no exam is difficult to pass that's what I think.
They give internship opportunities in very well settled branches like NDTV, etc. But being a first-year student I didn't experience anything like this right now so can't say much about this thing write now but surely write again about this thing in the second year after getting some experience.
As I'm a first-year student I didn't experience anything about this thing right now but from past reviews and Data, I can say that the college provides placement and internship in well-settled companies and branches.
The total fees I have to spend on this course is 2,32000 and I think it's fair because even government colleges are also charging approx this much for this course so I found it ok because this is an advance course which is taking high steps in the education field as alot of people are opting for this because in future there will be chances that media is going to have a very high peak in jobs
We had an online fest because of this corona pandemic offline fest can't be held with the affiliated university and its another college in the last month of November where we had to send the entries online itself and I actually loved it. The college also provides us alot of books in the library related to our topic and interests and I think it's great. As I'm a first-year student and I didn't experience alot right now so can't say much. Our college also has a Facebook page and Instagram account where students activities are updated
Interview session
Yes I had a personal interview with the director of the college about the basics of the course what I'm going to study about my knowledge on media and it's correspondence what I'll do after the course what I wanted to be and some discussion on general topics about society and politics
In 3rd year students get placements. They usually get internship proposals during every year by the college to work in some media houses or if you don't get any internship college to organize summer training for 1st-year student and give them a task such as article writing(in BJMC).
Campus placements are not a thing here, as I have understood till now. Nonetheless, a student is eligible for placements once he/she passes the fifth semester. My batch is yet to pass the fifth semester as the time I am writing this review is the COVID times. I literally don't have much idea about the percentage of placements and to be honest, I don't want to know. I have my own plans and I am finding myself a job after the degree. One thing I would like to mention is that these are my personal views, there may be some differences while others review this.
Students are taken to the different companies to visit and also some of the company head also visit the college for selecting the students. Interacting sessions are also conducted every month.
I was really interested in Event Management right after my 12th and my subject preference falls under the course BA(JMC). I was in Delhi university doing B.A programme but then I dropped out of it just because that course wasn't creative enough for me and didn't provide with much choice of subjects. The thing I like the most about my new college is that faculty is very helpful and polite.
As such no remark but the college has a good name in the area it is located and even has a good reputation in NCR. It was good to see and meet such a good faculty in the college and gain good experience
my overall experience with my collage was awesome because i spent good time with my frinds...but i always want that if collage can procide us highly effective equipments so we can creat so mny things like short film..radio program news report.
