Remarks

The location of the campus is best. Ramjas has known faculty members with great teaching experience. The admission process is easy. I got into Ramjas from Merit basis. As it’s north campus the percentage required is really high. One has to check cut-offs on Delhi University official site. After checking the cutoff, you have to visit the college within a time period and register your entry and get admission. For that proper documents are to be submitted with full disclosure. I choose this college as it is in the best location, north campus which is very reputed. I also did full research of various colleges in Du. I visited websites like Collegedunia to do my research. It was of great help as it helped me make my decision. It states all the pros and cons. It gives you a perfect overview of the college with details. Ramjas is also known for its election and societies. Societies are great and win in many fests. Overall college experience and life here is really awesome and happening.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose the BCom programme as I wanted to pursue some degree related to commerce. I want to pursue MBA in the coming years. Ramjas teaching faculty is really good. Student ratio is also perfect. Male to female ratio might be roughly 40:60. The teaching method is traditional and unique with qualified department and teachers. Teachers are expert in their subjects and clarify doubts of students. They take pains to help student and proper material, notes and assignments are given to the students. The term exams are always held once 6 months. For undergraduate courses, there are 6 semesters for 3 years. Exams are of average difficulty level. Difficulty level is medium. Some subjects are easier too.

Placement Experience

3.5

From last year, 3-year students start applying for placements. Ramjas placement is very good. Top companies visit the campus. Also, the big 4 companies visit the campus like - EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PWC and many more renowned companies. Average package is 4 lakhs and the highest can go to 8 Lakh or more. Many students from every course apply for placements and get placed. BCom has amazing job opportunities and top companies visit. My plans after BCom is to sit in placements for Job. I want to pursue the job for two years and after that continue with my studies, MBA. MBA is most preferred after BCom for better career opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure- 14000- 16000 per annum. There’s no such scholarship given to the student. But students who top their semester exam are facilitated properly in the college. Their name is displayed on the college official site. Financially there’s not much burden. People can afford it. Campus job opportunities are really good. Big and renowned companies do visit the campus for internship and job offers. Some companies do offer stipend ranging from 2000-10000, depends on the company and some company donor give stipend.

Campus Life

3.5

College life is happening and amazing. There’s an annual departmental fest and also college fest. Our annual fest of Ramjas is Mosaic. It happens in March or April. The music fest is also held in February called Yugen. Availability of books in the library is good. Some recent editions are not there but most books are there. The classroom has proper light and fans with chairs and table. Sports club have a regular practice and team matches. There’s a very known social society of Ramjas called ‘Enactus Ramjas’. It is for the social work.

Interview Experience

3

No, I did not face any group discussion. Interview or written test for the admission. I simply got admission on merit basis. Where I got admission on the cut off basis. I got admitted in first cut off and did visit the college to submit all the necessary documents and papers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
