Remarks
It is one of the best colleges for LLB after DU and it has lots of facilities. The main attraction was the library and also the feedback I got from the faculty. The faculty is very nice and knows how to impart knowledge and guide the students in a true sense. The classes are held regularly. The only problem being that the college is a little strict about attendance and the minimum attendance required is 75% in each subject. Rest the college is amazing and provides various opportunities for students to grow. There are various legal as well as cultural societies that a student can be part of. The law department also organizes moot courts, seminars, and workshops that are actually quite helpful. The campus is huge and everything one needs is within the campus. The admission process is simple. One has to clear the test and then the interview to get in.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is amazing and full of learned and experienced teachers. Most of the teachers are very good and they also guide the students not only for the exams but also for the career that one can choose. There aren’t many teachers for the LLB course but we get different teachers for different subjects each semester. Most teachers have done a PhD. Or were advocates or did their LLM from renowned institutions in India. The teaching method is also nice. We have Theory along with PSDA in most of the Subjects, which helps us to acquire practical knowledge outside the classroom. The exams as well as the result are held and given timely. With proper studies, one can easily ace the examination.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is not so satisfying. It is a lot as it's around 1.2-1.4 lakhs per semester for LLB students which is for 3 years. However, when compared with other private institutions it's cheaper. There isn’t much provision for scholarships. Students get scholarships once they take admissions and can continue it but maintaining their good marks. However, for students who score well afterward during the study, they get no such scholarship. It exists but it’s difficult to avail it.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing in Amity. The campus is huge and has everything within. The library is the best and one of the main attractions in college. It is huge and well maintained. The classrooms are nice and are also air-conditioned. There is also a stationary shop inside every department building. The washrooms are also well maintained and clean. There are various food outlets and restaurants inside the campus like the subway and dominos. There is also a play zone known as Arcadia where there is a pool, billiards, bowling, and air hockey. One can also be a part of sports groups in the college. Also, there are various cultural clubs and societies in college.
Interview Experience
For admission into the LLB course, we had to give a test and then a personal interview. The test was a little difficult and contained questions on general knowledge, current affairs, and the law. Later a personal interview was held in which a teacher was assigned to a group of students. Questions on basic concepts of law were asked to check the knowledge of the students.
