Galgotias University Greater Noida, BA {Hons.}, Economics

Remarks

Infrastructure and International students crowd. The area in which the college is situated is at much distance far from the civilization. Quite amazing facilities. Amazing and hard working faculty members which are very much qualified. Sports facilities are also provided by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers here are helpful, Most of the teachers are well-qualified except for some few. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is very good, and they want you to be the best. Some teachers are very good and well-knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very job centric, and there are many computer courses for non-computer batches.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Placement Experience

About half of the students got placements in companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon and many others. The average salary package offered is around 4 to 5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is up to 12 LPA. Placements are good in B.Tech courses, especially in computer courses. Many top companies also come for placements in MBA and B.Tech batches.

College Events

4.5

One of the cool things about Galgotia University is the annual fest- The Galgotia Unifest. The extravaganza of the event is what makes this fest worth. Students have transport facilities to reach the college easily.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of this college is the best part. Our university is also working on putting up air-conditioners in every classroom. For sports, the ground facility is also very good and huge. Every block has its own library. Computer labs are also very good with air-conditioners. The only problem is a network connection, which is very poor inside the university.

Does LL.M in integral University worthy

Likes

It is having nice infrastructure and other facilities for both the girls and boys students.
They are having girls common room in each building of the college.
The washroom facilities are very good and hygienic

Dislikes

The time tables are bit tiring and exhaustive
There are plenty of assignments and assessment test
There are many competitions held at a time so some times it becomes exhaustive

Placement Experience:

The placement facility is very good. University has it's own placement cell. Alumni and recent graduated students are eligible for the placements . As well as from second year students are eligible for the internship opportunities. Many companies come and select students from campus interview rounds. Many companies select students through online mode like Google meet. Students get regular notification mail and sms regarding job opportunities by the placement Cell as well as faculties also share job opportunities and internship opportunities in the college groups . So that students can apply who all are interested. Almost 95% students get campus placement during their last year or semester. The average package given to the student is 6-8 LPA and the highest package range about 24-25 LPA. My plans are to give competitive exams and doing PhD for further qualification.

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

My geart government college

Likes

If I talk about my college that i appreciate is the best part of environment very much good and more than best other government colleges in mzn
Our campus life is okay okay!! Cause I'm not that part of campus life. So I don't enjoy that part of my college.
I truly talking about faculty's it is genuine with us . And teaching methods is best every teachers always the right time in the classroom.

Dislikes

No more provided placements in our college cause it is a government. But always support teachers for providing for career development.
It's a properly government college. So more more facilities in our college and campus life other students who studied about coursees.
I did completed Bachelors of commerce in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ok, if I talk about my course, I have done B.Com from there and B.Com is a very good level course. It means there is a degree in it and I had to prepare for government job and from the beginning I had taken commerce in 11th class, so I found B.Com very suitable for me and as far as exams are concerned, B.Com means good study. Our college used to teach us very well, so I had also taken tuitions together, so it was quite good. My experience means it did not seem so difficult. I found it very difficult, I used to get very good exams and I cleared it very well without any back.

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. The admission process was simple and east. Fill an application form and go to GCET and get everything done there that's all. No complicated thing....Read More
