Remarks

The good and best aspects are it has a good infrastructure and green environment which provides a healthy atmosphere between nature and human beings. A very bad aspect is faculty r poor in supporting young talents The admission process is taken by the merit that the student achieves in the EAMCET examination conducted by the TS govt. I prefered this college only coz it's a govt college and I opted for civil cause I love to design structures which helps in the development of the country. I had a look at the college on YOUTUBE and google. I had found some interesting things in YT which made me opt for this college like the infrastructure of the college and the peaceful environment around the campus and there r no places where we can entertain ourselves nearby. To have some fun and joy we need to travel over 10 to 15kms which takes up to 20min.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I opted for this CIVIL course cause I love to design structures and in the journey loved the process of constructing buildings. Finally, now I want to know more about hydrology which affects me more in the coming days. For every 20 students, a faculty is present who can take care of his/her studies and some other participation. I hope each and every faculty had completed Masters and a few also completed research in their respective courses. Teaching technique is better and it's unique from each other. For every 4 months, we will have semester examinations and as it's JNTU it's tough to pass as there will b a chance to fail even if we write to 75 marks cause of correction mistakes.

Placement Experience

2

From 3 year students become eligible for placements. Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Ramky, TCS are the most common companies visited. The highest package is 50k per month and the average package is 35k per month. Almost 40% of students are getting places each year. I'm interested in design structures but then that I'm more interested to make music for songs and short films. so I prefer to make a choice in the music industry.

Fees and Financial Aid

For a student, it costs almost 35k including mess and study with tuition fee. Its okay to pay 35k per semester. The persons who get scholarship need not pay money for tuition and mess. It's free. As I'm the son of govt employee I'm not aware of any scholarship details.

Campus Life

3

We had a great fest named AMELIORATION where students perform various activities in the annual fest. In technical fest, we are gonna introduce students to some new technologies which are used in the market to update student and compete with them. There is plenty of space in the classroom such that 100 persons can sit and listen to a lecture. The most common thing to maintain fitness in sports and we had a good coach who will support us and take us to the nationals level. There is a club running in our college unofficially named the jntuhces club. Officially it's not running now.

Interview Experience

0.5

We did not have any GD on our campus while admission. We were taken into college only based on the merit we got. There is no process involved during an interview in our college. We had good English speaking skills which were helped only during interviews which we r going to face in 4 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
