Remarks

Our college is good in each and every aspect no doubt almost all students will get placed in good companies with a good package also.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE-MAINS but I did not qualify in that exam i also took GAT exam which made me to get into this gitam university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yeah it's quite good.our time table is scheduled in a way that we study as well as enjoy with some Leisure's such as sports period, lib etc. But students are complaining about the leisure hours are not sufficient in my view it's for our benefit we are paying them so get the highest of what they provide you.

Internships Opportunities

As I'm still in 3-1 don't have any internship experience but for my seniors college provided with HP, hcl for internship.

Placement Experience

Placements are the one good ques comes in every person's mind while taking an admission in the college. There are many companies visiting in our college every yr some in hundreds of companies almost all students except a few will definitely be placed in our college.

College Events

Every year a fest will be conducted technical as well as cultural fest it will be a festival of 2-3 days.It will be full of fun buses will be provided and for interested students they also provide Hostel facility so that we can stay in hostels for those 3 days we can also invite our friends from different colleges to attend the fest so that we can fun as well as increase communication together and maintain relationships.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Of course as it's a deemed university it is expensive in my point of view we should not think it's expensive because our facilities are also of the same cost in our college every year there will be an increase of 5-10% in the fees sometimes transport aslo bus fee varies according to the place where we board.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available but I don't have any idea of loan facilities.for my knowledge loan is not available I think also our college doesn't have installment facility too only once we have to pay the amount.

Campus Life

In our college there is no gender differences every one is sportive enough but at same time they are misusing that opportunities extra circular activities are not more than limit only upto the limit they are enough I suppose.well have workshops in more number at least one per month technical workshop besides this we have a team which supports all technical events workshops that is GUSAC.

Hostel Facilities

Hotels are good with a good mess food is tasty I'll not say it's delicious but it's good compared to other hotels outside college's. There is a diff mess and hostels for boys and girls our college is trying to still increase the mess area as juniors are more in number.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah coming to seniors they are very friendly,interactive they help us in many matters regarding placements and higher studies not only regarding studies but also all the other activities we together have fun at all the times we'll not be like senior and junior but as friends like.

Exam Structure

We have good no.of rooms to conduct labs and exams.There is no prob of hectic days and all.actually our college is a big one having a good infrastructure and sports room for indoor games and a ground for outdoor games too.we will be having 3 mids one per month.so accordingly our faculty works on setting up the schedule for exams also manage juniors and other sections.

Faculty

Coming to our faculty they are really really good and very much interested,involved in the sub than us. They not only concentrated to complete the syllabus but taking care of our understanding levels how far we are able to understand the subject. And also they make us practice to get good marks in mids and final exams.

Life of an graduating person

Likes

Teaching was very good as compared to other colleges and faculty members have 8+ years and upto 20+years teaching experience and totally digital teaching method through smart board with PDFs and PPT's and the infrastructure was very good.
College is totally 7 blocks with a spacious ground and greenery around the college sand there is also campus hostel and bus facility available and learning facilities also very good with well furnished labs .
The curriculum is also better for professional and personal development and the placements services are very supportive for career advancement

Dislikes

The things I disliked are the timings of gates closing in morning session and there is no chance of going outside in the lunch hour .
Sometimes faculty doesn't explain some topics they will skip the topics to sit simply in the classroom with teaching
The security guards are very strict and they directly take id cards of students if they misbehave anything .

Placement Experience:

3-2 semester students will become eligible for campus placements and the companies visited are tech Mahindra, cognizant ,cap gemini, zentek, tcs, etc some of the top most companies also visited our college for placements and so many students have been placed in the companies with a good package there is almost 78% of students are getting placements in this college

NIAT - where learning and growing is fun

Likes

The teaching style and focus on practicals
More emphasis is given on coding and attending hackathons
Mentors and their constant support In building projects

Dislikes

The strict rules and pressure is real and can be frustrating sometimes
The infrastructure can be a bit better, like the building and space for games
There's very less extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Building Skills Beyond the Classroom

Likes

The coding culture is the best thing about NIAT. There are very frequent coding competitions that makes students actually learn things and improve their skills.
The faculty members are very knowledgable and supportive. They are also very friendly and helps everyone when in doubt.
The curriculum is totally updated and new. The use of latest technology and AI is very much focused on. Also provide internships from 1st year itself

Dislikes

The strict rules are a bit too much. The pressure is real and becomes difficult to deal with soetimes
There are hardly any cultural activities or programs. All focus is given on coding and tech related programs.
Its still new and no batch has graduated yet so its kind of difficult to record the placement rate

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Likes

As i joined into marri laxman reddy institute ,The campus is in a village bakcground it feels so nice to live over their .We do have several sports commisions in our college.
Our college provides sports facility and The campus was so hugee ,The infrastructure is very useful(i am talking about digital teaching lab equipments and all)
The teachers were so friendly with the students and the college has a perfect strcture category for every department .

Dislikes

The teachers were so nice but the college and teachers doesnt support student to enhace the student personal growth.The teachers were take the class by learning the ppt without any conceptutal representing
The infrastructure is good but thier is no maintainance in the college,Campus feels huge but it degradss interms of maintainance and enhance the campus intemrs of neatness .it feels so that after we return back from the holidays
Most importantly,the canteen food is worst.My friend face an incident that he got a dead frog in the manchurian rice.And the food is most coastly maintains low quality

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Likes

Things I liked they won't charge if they put any event,annual day, they will only charge for farewell that's common l thing in every college they don't show any biased over girl or boy , they won't restrict if boy and girls sits together
They kept more events in 1st year we used to attend them

Dislikes

They stopped keeping events after 2nd year
Lecturers are particular to there subjects like they taught CN subject for 2nd year the same lecture is teaching other subject in next semester
Security watchmens are so strict than clg management

Placement Experience:

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Yeah our clg faculty is so Supportive and knowledgeable
Our college good environment and good interaction
Our clg has better infrastructure like labs and library

Our college doesn’t conduct events frequently
The major one is placement opportunities should be improved
And also adminsrative process is slow sometimes

Campus placements start from final year. A few core companies and bulk hiring companies visit with average packages , overall placement percentage is average . So I plan to build more skills and purse better opportunities after graduation

The faculty of the college is quite good
The college is in the middle of city which helps a lot
There is compulsion for 75℅ attendance and the college is open gate

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very poor.. Buildings and classrooms, benches, and computers used are very old
No sports and other extra-curricular activites and no provision for canteen
Campus is very boring.. Toilets are not clean.. The admin staff is very rude

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

The faculties are highly knowledgeable, understandable and are helpful in studies and they even mentor us in some important aspects.
Course curriculum is perfectly designed to prepare for any competitive exams that a student may be appearing.
There is not much academic pressure on students. They have ample of time to prepare for any competitive exams.

Dislikes

Management by the college and the faculties are not good
There are not much companies visiting campus. Majority of them are either for non-technical roles or are mass recruiters.
Campus crowd is not good for growth for any serious student.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Organising social events and taking us to trips.
Faculty encouraging students to participate in various technical and social events.

The equipment in laboratory was not proper.
The faculty were not well trained and experienced.
Not taking us to industrial visits and sessions.

Placement Experience:

The training criteria for placements for students starts from third year.The top companies like IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, Accenture has visited our campus.The highest package offered was 20 lpa and average package offered is 3-4 lpa.50 percentage of the students will get placed in third year if not they'll get placed in 4 year.My plan after graduation is being a software engineer in a high profile company.

A life of an Average Indian Student in University

I have applied to many colleges few of them are Vellore Institution of Technology (VIT), Woxsen University, Manipal University, KL University. I have applied for BTech in All these Universities. But at last moment i decided to flip my course and pursue Food Sciences and Technology so i had to let go all the opportunities in the university. I did apply for Mahindra University for BBA but u got rejected in the Personal Interview round. I got into GITAM througu their Entrance Test. I have got a scholarship of 40% in their entrence test. There are various eligibility criteria for GITAM. The main criteria would be you have to score above 60% in your Intermediate. This Universities accepts students through their own entrence test, AP and TS Eamcet, Intermediate Marks, JEE test series, NEET, etc. The most prefered exam by all the students to get into the university is the Universities Entrence test.
