Remarks

College Management is decent. There a few strict regulations and rules, but you'll get used to it once you become a part of this college. Apart from that, everything is pretty well managed.

Entrance Preview

JEE. Couldn't get a stream ot IIT of my choice. BITS was the next best college, according to me. I was able to get my desired stream. I also gave CET, AIEEE, but it didn't really matter as I got into BITS.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is based on the one followed at MIT. SO, it is one of the best. The college ranking, future options, seniors/alumni reviews, faculty and the courses/electives offered are parameters I would use to judge the course curriculum. It is very important that you choose the right stream.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, BITS does provide internships. In fact there are 2 necessary internships you have to do as a part of the academic curriculum :1. a 2 month internship after your 2nd year2. A 6 month internship in your final year.Stipend Range = 8,000 to 50, 000 INR/month.Some Companies for interning: Amazon, Mercedez Benz, Bosch, Tata Motors, Halliburton, Skoda,Myntra, Adobe.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fees at BITS is slightly expensive. As of today, you have to spend around 8-10 lakh for a 4 year degree. The fees includes hostel accommodation, food, electricity, internet and tuition fees. This does not include cost for books and stationary.Everything else is included in the above mentioned amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are couple of scholarships, some are provided by institute itself on basis of merit and economic background. Few are provided by industries and government bodies as well. If you have talent in you, money is not matter of concern on BITS Pilani. BITS pilani always consider students as its assets so it all believe in holistic development of students.

It is not very hectic, Well planned and well spaced out. There are 2 set of tests[ 1 hr exams] and then a Comprehensive Exam at the end of the semester[33 hr exams] .Lab exams happen twice a semester, and there are no clashes between the two.In case you ar

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.

Campus placement is okay okay but not that great . Mech and civil don't have that much package avg of around 6 lakh and i guess only 10-11 got placed .. and 16-17 was eligibile for it. For eligible to placement you don't have any backlog in any subject and some minimum cgpa required too
