Positive Remarks: Faculty is quite experienced, Good teacher-student relations, seniors and alumni is cooperative, POsitive environment,classes with smart boards,Coaching classes for competitive exams like:GATE etc,Bus facility from East campus to West campus.Negative Remarks: Infrastructure can be enhanced, Security should be proper in hostels and at main gate, Need more practical exposure.

Course curriculum is almost same as other engineering colleges like IIT,NIT or any other state engineering college. B.tech is an 4 year long course and each year is divided into 2 semesters and in each semester two exams are conducted,first is mid sem exam and second is end sem exams. Mid sem exams are conducted in between of an semester and end sem at the last of the semester. Both exams concludes with written exam,viva,lab test,practicals,assignments and quizzes.

Placement is decent is my college. For technological (non-core) branches placement is very good. CS & IT's placement is also around 80% with good LPA. Placement for core branches is around 50% and core students prefer to join PSU's through GATE. For few branches college provide internship facility whereas student is free to do intern wherever he/she wants. This year highest placement package of my college is 43.5LPA(microsoft).

Teachers day is celebrated every year in the college, fresher's party is organize to welcome first year student and to make them aware about rules and regulation. Inter-branch and inter-hostel events is also organized.

Fees structure is divided into 3 parts. First is tuition fee- 92300, hostel fee-15000,mess fee-30000. It's bit expensive for government college. Students get scholarship every year. We need to pay all the fee at the beginning of the year,so that we don't need to pay fee semester wise.

Scholarship is provided by UP Government for poor students. But our college provide money to take part in any technical event of any other college. And if student want to do intern or any course then college will reimburse the money according to TEQIP guidelines.

In last one year lab has been improved a lot. New equipments, devices has brought.We are doing very good in lab practicals and experiments.We organize many sports events and perform various games like:cricket,volleyball,badminton,table tennis,athletics.Our college team take part in many sports fests of various colleges of IIT,NIT and other institutes. We invite many colleges to take part in our fest also. We organize inter-branch sports activities too.

There are 10-12 hostels in my college. Some of them are in east campus and rest are in west campus. Girls and first year students live in east campus whereas seniors lives in west campus hostels. Mess facility is available in each hostel. Infrastructure is not so good but more than sufficient to live. Water, electricity is available 24x7.

HBTU is famous for it's large alumni network across the world. Seniors of my college is very supportive and helplful.You can approach them for any academic or personal work. They help their juniors kindly.

My college take B.tech graduates from National level engineering entrance exam conducted by CBSE which is JEE MAINS. I also got admission here from JEE MAIN, i got rank around 28K and got selected for the electrical branch in B.tech course. My college organise it's own counseling which consist of 4 rounds and if it's required then spot round is also an option. And if you got selected in any of these round you will get the admission.

Faculty of my college is quite experienced and each year we take few guest lecturers. And faculty has good knowledge of subject and familiar with practical application of that knowledge. Each department has it's own faculty with expertise in different different fields.
