Chose mechanical engineering as later i would be able to apply for most of the govt jobs as well as very good corporate jobs.Faculty: Student = 1:20More or less all the faculties are doctorates in their respective fieldsThere are 2 internal exams along with assignments nd projects nd 1 final term exam for each semester nd ya the passing criteria is a bit complex one

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 692000 per year

Placement Experience

From the beginning of 7th semester placement begins.various companies such as Tata motors, tata steel, l&t, Capegemini, Microsoft, Amazon, De Shaw, honda, Hyundai, ACC, TCS, Accenture, etc.along with govt companies or PSUs like IOCL and BHEL.Highest package is of Rs. 55 LPA by Amazon.offered to 2 students.

College Events

Annual cultural fest - Riviera (February).its the 4th largest engineering college cultural fest.Annual technical fest - Gravitas (October).it also features among the top 10 technical fests throughout india. different colleges including IITs,NITs compete in various technical workshops nd exhibitions during this fest.

Proper sports facilities.1 outdoor stadium.1 indoor stadium.free wifi throughout the campus with decent network speed.5 floor library with over 1,50,000 books.well equipped labs.Campus area is about 365 acres.

Hostel Facilities

Good rooms.decent area of the room.ac or non ac both type of rooms are available starting from single bed to six bedded rooms.nice mess with all type of foods although lacks quality.

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Likes

Like to study the subjects in a practical way as well as getting skillfull everyday
Liked the events and the participation of the students in every aspect of the event
Liked the way teachers behaving with the students in a friendly manner

The working hours in clinical area is way more high and not able to tolerate
The hostel rooms should be cleaned every week atleast
More restrictions for girls only and there is a partiality among the students in gender

The subjects are quite tough but can read and learn with a little bit more effort over those subjects and so the exam will be held for 3 hours continuously and the exam pattern in like semester type and so the course in more useful

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
