Remarks
It's a good college with a big infrastructure and a big lush green campus. After you enter the campus it's full of greenery all around. It also has a hostel facility. Teachers are very helpful and supportive. There are many labs of all departments that are well maintained. The college also provides us with different cultural activities and also holds sports events every year. There are also expedition trips for the students and teachers as well. The college also has a big library with about 1lakh books of all subjects and various authors and various competitive books.
Course Curriculum Overview
The teachers are very good, helpful, and supportive. After every class, there are various doubt clearing sessions followed by weekly tests to check your progress. Our departmental teachers are outstanding. The college faculties keep updating us on the latest news, development, technology, and all other fields. All the studies are directed to the point and makes us job-ready.

Several internships offer from big companies like IICHE Berger Paints, Metro Dairy, Asian Paints, Haldia Petrochemicals, MCPI, and many more. Berger Paints India Ltd- in the Dept. of Resin Plant, Water Base Paints Plant, Solvent Base Paints Plant, Process Quality Control & Finished Product Testing Laboratory, ETP & Raw Materials Warehouse at Rishra Works. Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd- One day visit to the plant where I got to explore and learn about Naphtha Cracker Unit, Butadiene Extraction Unit, Benzene Extraction Unit, Pyrolysis Gasoline Hydrogenation Unit, C4 Hydrogenation Unit, LLDPE, HDPE, PP Unit. Academic projects: Design of Sulfuric acid manufacturing Plant, Prediction of Rate kinetics model.
Placement Experience
The quality of placement in this college is very good with an average of 98% placements every year. And the basic salary starts with 5 lakh yearly. Companies like Linde, Berger Paints, Haldia Petrochemicals, MCPI, and many reputed ones come here in our Chemical Engineering department. Also, several IT companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc recruit students from this college.

The courses offered in our college are quite affordable. For B.Tech courses, it's 3 lakhs for 4 years and the college provides us that quality education and facilities too. It takes us to the expedition, holds quizzes, cultural activities, and sports that are funded by the college

The Calcutta Institute Of Technology college has a big campus with greenery all around. It has many big grounds for the students to enjoy. Every evening the students come to play varigames as cricket, football, volleyball. Our department arranges several internships, Chemiculture, IICHE Seminars, workshops, and many more.
Interview Experience
Generally, an introductory session is being organized by the teachers where we all interact with each other and get ourselves accustomed to the course curriculum. We all are very much grateful to get a such wonderful experience.
