Remarks

We had to apply online for the college. And after they select your application they gave a date for the exam. We had 3 rounds for exams. First was the aptitude round, then we had some general questions based on our 12th grade subject. Then at last we had a personal interview round. There were some eligible criteria like. Minimum 60% in 12th, 50% in maths.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

We had 2 semesters each year. And each semester had 6 subjects. Some of the subjects include practical and theory and some include only theory. To write theory, we had to clear practicals. I had the interest to go in core so I took this branch. My branch had very little strength so it was very easy to approach faculties for doubt n all. These faculties were very kind and would clear our doubt easily.

Internships Opportunities

5

Every year on engineer's day we have one stall set up in which various companies come and explain about the various internship they provide and stipend they will provide and their work experience and how they will help us in the long go. We have to do an internship of 60 days minimum within 6 semesters and then in the last semester, we have to do a major internship of 90 -100 days.

Placement Experience

5

On our campus, the placement starts from the 7th semester onwards mostly. Anyone with more than 60% aggregate is eligible to sit for placement. Mostly software companies come. But non technical companies also come. Almost 80-90% of eligible students get placed every year. And some students plan for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, our campus did provide scholarship to eligible students. We had a fee concession also. Most of the campus came were for most from the computer science department, but we also got some core companies. Our department made sure that they try to give us an Internship. After the GST increment, our fees got hiked up a little.

Campus Life

5

Our campus was full of greenery and life. We had our annual fest called "magnovite" that was held on every February. This included technical and non technical events. There were stalls, games, food stalls and many more. We have our library in which u can find almost all the book related to your study and also story n comics. We can issue for 14 days. Our class included projectors, sound systems. Each year we would have our annual sports day in which many sports like long jump, really, throw all, handball, football, basketball, shotput, kabaddi, and many more games were conducted. We even had a parade in which all faculties and students were seen March fasting. We have different clubs like CSA, NCC, department clubs, photography clubs and many more. We used to do flash mob for every event coming.

Hostel Facilities

5

We had both girls and boys hostel. But only thing is that the girl's hostel was outside the campus and the boy's hostel was inside the campus. Girls hostel had 1,2,3 sharing room. That included washroom inside each room. The food was good and they provide 2 times a day. The hostel was also affordable that includes food also. Then after that, I took a flat and shifted there for the remaining 2 years. It was near the college so it was easy for transportation. I took a flat in kumbalagodu.

Interview Experience

5

Like after giving boards. I was mentally prepared to give entrances in various colleges. So like that I even did prepare to go through the topics I studied for boards. They gave mostly basic questions related to maths, physics and chemistry. They took an Interview regarding the same topics to check our efficiency in English and confidence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
