I wrote the Karnataka CET exam and scored a 100/180. Opted the college for its pedagogy in mechanical engineering and ROI.

College courses are in line with the requirements of the modern engineering world.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college lacs internships facilities as of now. However, I did apply for internship and got one at NCL pune.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunity is decent. Because of the interior location, it could be disadvantage, otherwise placement chances are good.

College Events

The college has a literature, arts and drama fest in each semester. Apart from this the clubs at MCE also organize there events and fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is one among the lowest among the country. I finished my engineering within Rs 75000.

Yes, college does offer loan facilities from banks like the syndicate bank.

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty good. The Gender ratio is also good. The college has a good number of extracurricular events.

Exam structure has two internals followed by a sem end exams. Plus some quizzes and assignments.

Faculty

All faculties have their PHD done from the IIT's and therefore the pedagogy at the college is excellent.

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.
