Remarks

My college is an Autonomous Institute. It is an Engineering college. It is Government institute. The reviews that i got from my seniors about this college was quite good so i decided to join Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University. My college is situated in Raigad district in a rural area. But the education, guides, teachers are absolutely good. The admission process was little confusing as I was a fresher but the volunteers and staff helped so well in all the process. The hostel facilities, food from mess and overall climate there is so amazing and toxic free. Most importantly college arranges so many extra curricular activities like technical events, University Sports, so many competitions, annual programmes and much more. This helps to develop a student in all means. My favourite area of college is library which is so big, have a lot of books and magazines. A little problem with the college is that it has less placements due to its rural locality but our honorable Vice Chancellor sir and all the department heads try a lot to give good placements to the students. So that's all about my college. I hope it will be helpful for many students. Thank you.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My cousin owns a Construction Company and I used to observe the work he does and I developed interest in Construction area, that's the reason I chose Civil Engineering. All the faculty in department is really helpful, well experienced and smart. All the teachers are either PhD holders or Mtech holders. The pattern for exams includes 1 midsem and then the semester exam and there were practice tests and surprise tests during semester. Some subjects were really difficult but teachers use to help very well.

Internships Opportunities

4

For civil engineering students, our head of the department arranged internship program for the students in Kokan Railway. It was a very good opportunity to work for such a huge project and many students got job there too after completion of internship. There are projects for students to learn and research new technologies. University also provides various courses other than syllabus.

Placement Experience

3.5

The campus at university is little less due to its rural locality. But the Vice Chancellor, registrars and all the department heads try hard to give good placements to the students. They manage many internships for students at many companies and Kokan Railway too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for the courses are actually reasonable. The fees are worth as facilities University providing are very good. There are scholarships for students like Post metric scholarship, Freeship, Punjabrao Deshmukh scholarship etc. I didn't get job from campus selection.

Campus Life

4.5

College arranges so many extra curricular activities like technical events, University Sports, so many competitions, annual programmes and much more. This helps to develop a student in all means. There is a big Technical event named Cynosure every year where students arrange various technical and fun events. The library of college is quite large and very spacious. Library has a huge number of books and the staff there is also helpful.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are limited in the college. A few companies visit during the final year, and students usually becomes eligible fromo the last semester. The packages offered are generally modest, mostly for entry-level roles. Only a small percentage of students get placed thorugh campus drives, while many prefer to apply off-campus for better opportunities. The college provides basic placement support such as info about job openings and guidance, but students need to build their own skills and prepare independently. After completing the degree, students prefer to pursue higher studied, professional courses, or entry-level IT jobs.

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.
