SPCE Mumbai is the best college in Maharashtra .It offers great teaching and the professors have excellent subject-knowledge.It also shapes the personality of a student,as various fests like SPACE(cultural fest) and SPECTRA(Technical fest) are extra-ordinary with various exciting events. It also gives chance to students to fit-in leadership roles and form various committees.Students actively organise all the events during these festivals. Also,they get a chance to participate in the events and interact with guests present in the events.Aditionally this is a very beautiful college in Andheri with lot of natural beauty like Bhavan's Lake,Nature and Adventure club, Yoga and Fitness club ,Botanical Garden and Bhavans cultural club is like the cherry on the cake.It Also offers great placements for all the three branches (Civil,Mechanical and Electrical) with decent packages (3 to 12 LPA) and core companies like TATA, Reliance, Thyssenkrup ,Shapoorji Pallonji ,Burns and macdonells, Gammon Participate in the recuitment process. Non-Core companies like Axis Bank,GEP, Byju's, Akash tutorials,Axxela,Infosys also participate and offer leadership roles to students.All this makes it a great place to study.Also it is an autonomous college affiliated to the University Of Mumbai which makes it even Special as the professor who teaches you,sets your paper and conducts the exam which makes the result process very very smooth as results are declared after 10 days of Semester Exams. Also students can approach every faculty personally and then review thier corrected answer-sheets, thus the process is very smooth and any discripencies are highly unlikely.Additionally facilities like 24-hour study-room, Library facility(needs to improve),free access to internet,Design labs make this place even more special.

Most of the Faculty-members are P.Hd holders with wide-subject knowledge as well as application-based knowledge. However, there are exceptions to this as some faculty-members dont teach well and we have to rely on reference books for studying it for the exam.Course curriculum is pretty standard but professors do add new technological advances in the curriculum(like softwares used in industry) and update it from time to time making it in accordance with the Industry standards.Faculties are easily approachable and are quite helpful,they will go out of the way to help any particular student.Here, a student gets good exposure and peer to peer learning is great as the crowd is quite geeky (studious).

Internship opportunities are not that great however college gives letter of recommendation to the students.But students have to find internship opportunities on their own and college may assist them if required in finding internship.

100% placement in true sense at the campus,even students with Year-drop get placed in various reputed companies.Core,Non-core, companies participate extensively in the placement process and thus making it one of the most sought after college in Maharashtra.It is a coveted college and offers guidance to the stdents for placement process like the aptitude tests, Mock-interviews are conducted before the placement process. Some companies participating include-Tata,Infosys,reliance, Axis Bank ,BYJU's , Akash tutorials,Square-yards,Myntra, Shapoorji Pallonji, Thyssenkrup,Burns and Macdonells ,L&T, Mahindra&Mahindra etc .

Campus jobs-Hands down it has the best Training and placement office in Mumbai and various companies participate in the placement process making it most-aspired college for undergraduate students aspiring to make a good career in technology.Core companies like TATA,Reliance,Burns and Macdonells,Thyssenkrup,Shapoorji Pallonji,Techint,Technimont,Siemens participate in the recruitment drive,Non-core companies include GEP,Axis Bank,Axxela,Akash tutorials,BYJU's .Fee structure is quite affordable(almost 90,000 for open category for 2020 batch,for OBC,SC categories it is even lesser) and the college doesn't demand any additional fees or money during the year,Just one-time payment at the beginning of academic year is quoted(as it is a fully aided college).Opportunity for scholarship are limited but all the schemes of Government of Maharashtra (social justice department) are applicable for reserved category students and economically backward students,admitted through CAP rounds . Additionally GATE training is provided free of cost for students aspiring for a post-graduate degree.

There are no group discussions ar interviews for the admissions to this college. 90% seats are reserved for maharashtra domiciled students and are filled with CET CAP rounds. 10% seats are reserved for Kashmiri immigrants and east indians (Nagaland). Institute-level rounds take place if there are any vacant seats at he end of Cap process.
