SRM Life

I applied to many colleges but the main reason for not attending them was the staff or students because I prefer a healthy and comfortable environment. I haven't availed for any scholarship for SRM but one can give the exam of SRMJEE or SRMCHAT for a scholarship. They also give scholarship on the basis of Haryana's domicile. The minimum marks were more than 50% in PCM for B.tech and there are no such age criteria. The counseling was done very properly by the SRMites. The admission process was a little long but was not so bad. We started with the orientation program and then we were forwarded ahead and ahead. Also, due to covid university had made it simpler for all.

B.Tech is the most inviting and exciting course. Basically, you will get your hand in a world of opportunities. you will get a chance to work with the biggest companies and with the most fastly emerging startups. It's a field to explore and study and invent. Basically, we have one faculty on every 40 students. It's a little precise as I haven't count the staff which is in our labs, academic center, library. The majority of teachers are having Ph.D. degrees in their field and are highly experienced. Even, if any new teacher arrives so New faculty is also very serious as they are given the motive to give their best to students. Faculty is most supportive, Not even in university, even after university, you can take guidance from them. In B.tech we have 4 years and 8 semesters (2 semesters in each year) In each semester, we have 5 Internal examinations for each subject and one final examination. Also, we have one internal and one external (final) examination for each lab.

Fees are not at all the concern as if we look around so around whole Delhi-NCR it is the most affordable and best private university. Only the first time you have to pay the application fee and security deposit. The security fee is not charged furthur. We have to pay tuition fee and examination fee and some library fee-only every year. If we avail hostel/ bus facility so that has separate charges, which are also affordable. They have scholarships for students with Haryana domicile and if you don't have that so, give their exam like SRMJEE and your score will give you scholarship, also they give honest results so we don't need to worry. If we face any issue so university helps us too and they also run various offers. For example- they fix a deadline and whosoever pays the fee till that date will get some amount of fee discount. Also, the campus has various companies as job opportunity from byjus to wipro and lates job was given to one student at 8 lakh/p.a.

The freshers are the theme one and have theme-related decor and competitions, during my freshers i got horror themes and it was very interesting, even there are many awards to win on that day. The tech fest is held every year with lots of activities and the most exciting event of the whole year is PRISMA- an annual fest, in which stars are called to perform on star night. In my first fest Jassie gill arrived on campus. Coming to the library, we have E-library, Newsroom, and most famous publishers' books too for our support. The most amazing thing is our classrooms, which just seems like something company room, they have full glass wall on one side, through which light keeps on energizing us, all the rooms are fully AC, We have smart classrooms with projectors and whiteboards. Also, sports activities run even after college due to which students stay fit, yoga is also a part of our syllabus. And the various clubs such as dance society, drama society, singing society, etc open a place of opportunities .
