Remarks

While searching about institutes for my MCA I got to know about MCA at BHU and after some detailed research I finalised it. BHU, Varanasi was placed 10th for overall 2020 rankings by NIRF. BHU is a university accredited by NAAC & also has approvals from AIU and UGC. For admissions to the MCA program candidates are selected on the basis of previous degree performance, BHU PET entrance score and the process of counselling .

Course Curriculum Overview

I've always been enthusiastic about programming, Computer Science and the cores of the programme are also these fields. So after completion of BCA, I decided to pursue an MCA program. The MCA program is spread across a time period of 3 years and has a total of 6 semesters in it. The faculty at BHU consists of experts for all different parts of the programs and they help students to also learn Practical knowledge along with the theory part.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 360000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I haven't participated in the round of internship due to some other commitments. I had to participate in a competition and the schedule of both the events clashed and I decided to opt for the competition at that time in which I got 2nd position.

Placement Experience

Banaras Hindu University is among the leading Institutes in Uttar Pradesh and the placement records of BHU are also good. Companies from different domains and fields participate in the placements every year. Talking about the 2020 campus placements of BHU. The highest salary package during the 2020 campus drive was INR 16 LPA with the most famous recruiters of the drive being ICICI, Wipro and Infosys. The average package for the placements drive of our batch was INR 7 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the MCA program at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi is quite similar to other institutes of the state offering the same program. The total fee at BHU for MCA is INR 3.6 lacs, which includes tuition fee but excludes the hostel fee. The students belonging to reserved categories and also the meritorious students can get different kinds of scholarships and benefits under the eligibility criterias and rules of the University.

Campus Life

The campus life experience at BHU was filled with different kind of activities throughout which helped us to learn the skills to maintain balance between academic and non-academic things. The sports fest, annual fest and Quiz comptetions are the most famous events of BHU. Our library has books and journals across science, technology and management. Famous societies like Dance Club,Quiz Club, Fine Arts Club, Academic Affairs committee,Students Affairs committee and and Alumni committees are also available there at BHU,Varanasi.

Hostel Facilities

My hostel life at BHU was among the things which I enjoyed the most. Our university offered the best of hostel life experience at the most affordable fee structures. The prices were surely low the facilities were comparable to any top institute across the state. Both genders got separated facilities and the rooms were facilitiated with all basic necessities. The students can also avail additional services but they would have to pay extra charges for them. The quality and taste of mess food were both really good and I throughouly enjoyed the mess services.

Admission

For admissions to Banaras Hindu University in the MCA program the applied candidates are firstly shortlisted on the basis of past academic performances, BHU PET entrance.The shortlisted candidates are then called for the counselling procedure of the university in which the seats are allocated on the basis of merit .

Likes

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Likes

The office staff is very good and helps in every problem that is faced by a child and provides solution for that.
The teachers are supportive and helps students with great conceptual lectures.
The campus has a huge area and gymnasium and big grounds are available for physical fitness and games.

Dislikes

The toilets are not clean and it should be taken care of because it looks very unhygienic.
There are some students who come to college just for making the environment bad and also the College ID is not checked so anyone can enter the campus easily.
The fans and benches for students are very old and should be changed because it cause discomfort for the students.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, the students are eligible for Placements. Wipro TATA INFOSYS Accenture ICICI bank Mahindra Are the some companies where studets gets placed. It think the highest package was 20 LPA and lowest package is 2.4 LPA. 25- 30 percent students are placed. My plan is to persue MBA after getting the BBA degree while doing a job.

A honest review about NIET(fees, internship,faculties,placements,and everything you need to know before joining)

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

I will rate 4 out 5 because the course is very interesting The curriculum prepare vey well and real word application They say active learning and the improvement I want is that in physiology practical class I want them to make us perform the practical

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

After completing the course they are provided with an internship of 12000 per month There are no placement provided by the college You have to give pg exam to get a placement In mbbs there is no such placement that a college can provide

Research approach is missing in my college

Give big campus like other collage because government college is begger and. Better

the last year placement is 12 lakh per anuum in 2023 my senior who was completed plastic engineering from cipet ipt lucknow he got 12 lakh package in maruti suzuki company and other senior are also got good placement like 9 lakh or 7 lakh per anuum

College infrastructure and no one is serious about placement
TPO and Director behaviour they are totally unable to make your future bright

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to inform uh that electronic and communication is a very good trade to choose. So many carreer opportunities if you will go in in industrial area, or in government sector. Make some connections with ur seniors others it is tough to enter in industry for freshers.

Remarks:

I found the atmosphere very good.Overall experience is good and satisfying.We don't need to worry about notes and exams as our teacher are very supportive and qualified.They helps you throughout the journey.

If you are really passionate you will get amazing opportunities to get experience.

I have applied in 5 college such as BHU AU DU BBAU and vishwa bharati Many for BA and BSc course through CUET UG, I got BHU and AU but at the end I have switched to BHU because of it is closer to my home and well known for me. I got seat in AU but same time BHU also, so I have to decide one. I put my seat for upgradation and then BVoc HTM. From 2022, there is only one entrance exam to take admission in all central state University in india. That is CUET common university entrance test conducted by NTA. Excellent Place for higher education

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level.
