Memorable 4 years - Things end, but memories last forever.

One of the best things only BITS provides is - No quota for admission. Only merit students, who crack BITSAT get a seat. In order to get into BITS, for our batch, the least mark one has to obtain is 200/450. There were 3 counsellings - In my case, as I got 337 marks I pursued Electronics and Communication(Got this in my second counseling). In the first counselling for my marks, I got Electrical and Electronics. It remained the same in my third counselling also but eagerly waited to get CSE in Hyderabad campus, which I missed in 2marks.

Teaching offered by faculty is on par with the standards of BITS and friendly. Most of the teaching faculty has PhDs in respective courses. Faculty: student ratio is 1:50. There are many Teaching assistants and Ph.D. students who help faculty with invigilations and scrutiny. There won't be any delay in examinations and in order to pass the course in BITS we have to at least score 10% of the course total, though there will be some students who fail in exams (By this you can understand the toughness of exams).

Goldman Sachs(Software developer) - 1lakh, Bny Mellon(Software developer) - 1lakh, Upgrad(Content strategist) - 25k, Synchrony(Cyber security) - 35k, Oyo - 45k, Amazon - 75k, Tekion - 50k, Merceds Benz - 35k etc.

In BITS, students can sit for campus placements in their 4th year. There are a lot of renowned companies and startups that visited the campus - BNY Mellon, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, ZS Associates, etc. The highest package offered is 50lakh and the average package offered is around 12lakh. Around 95% of students get placements. Many of the students opt for MS, Mtech, and MBA after getting the degree.

Fee hike policy - 15% hike every year on tuition fee Cost to study - 4+lakh/year (depends on a hike every year) Name of the scholarships provided - MCN(Merit cum need) and Merit scholarships. In order to avail MCN scholarship, your annual income should be less than 8lakh and your Cumulative Grade should be >6. In order to avail Merit scholarship, you should be among the top 1% of total number of students in batch (Atleast CG above 9.4).

The fests conducted in BITS, Goa are Waves(Cultural fest), SPREE(Sports fest), Quark(Tech fest). Infrastructure is good and all sorts of books are available in the library. You can be a part of Basketball, Football, Table tennis, Chess, Squash, Foosball, Carroms, Badminton. Every club and department in BITS is run by students(some departments- DOFAM, DOSAR, DOCW).
