Remarks

I have applied in different colleges including IIT at different levels. I also applied for a spot in birla Institute in Ranchi, but got rejected due to my entrance score as well as 12 th. Finally I got a spot at VIT in OBC quota. Admission process was simple and majestic. I don't remember anything regarding counselling section in my admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

From my childhood period I was so enthusiastic in operating computer and wanted to became a computer engineer. My marks in 12 th also revealed that i have enough adventure to compete in this sort of stuff. That's why I opted this course. Faculties are amazing all of the teachers hold Doctorates. Heavily qualified teachers and great teaching methods. Exams were so tough but it's not so complicated, if you have the Will it's simple.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships at different levels are carried out by the Institute itself. Different companies like wipro, rupay , different technological companies have their boost at the internship. Also they provide different tasks as well as practises to boost the students.

Placement Experience

I am almost at the end of my course. Due to the pandemic the course was slightly extended. Almost 80-90 percent students in VIT get placed at different companies across the globe. The Institute makes to cool and composed which brings out maximum potential inside you. So placement is not an issue.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are high. For a campus built like IIT and is so likely to beat all big universities across india. Fee structure is the one thing I want to improve. Fee hikes are generally troubling the students and not much of financial assistance from the authorities. There are certain scholarships but those are not enough to meet the needs of poor.

Campus Life

Life at the campus was extremely beautiful. There was no catastrophic stuffs , it was all peace. Library was superb. Every single stuffs was available there. Annual, tech fests etc were so nyc and can be regarded as one of the best compared to certain universities. Several social groups like blood donation groups etc are run by students itself.

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Likes

The college provides a friendly and supportive learning environment.
Most faculty members are approachable and helpful, especially when students need academic guidance

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
