Entrance Preview

After completing B.Com with accounting honours I was planning for MBA courses. One of my senior told me about PMIR (Personnel Management & Industrial Relations) course. Then one I appeared the exam of the concerned dept. and after clearing the exam joined there.

Internships Opportunities

We had done Summer Internship in our first year and Dissertation work in our Second year. Our department helped us in doing our work by contacting various reputed companies in India.

Placement Experience

4.5

Almost all the students passed from my department got job. Companies like EIL, L&T, Vedanta etc come for campus selection. All the companies absorb students in various managerial capacities and provide good amount of package. Govt companies provide package as per their norms and Private companies offer negotiated package.

Campus Life

Campus life is wonderful. We get good environment with friends (male & female) from all the parts of India. Sports, Internet, Library facilities available.

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumnus are spreading all Over India and world. Now days they are leading various companies (Govt & Private).

Admission

First I appeared the exam conducted by MPMIR ( Masters in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations) dept. After clearing the examination, I appeared for the counselling conducted by PMIR (Personnel Management & Industrial Relations) dept at Utkal University and joined the course after paying govt dues.

Overall the university is good to go

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum and subject syllabus decided by our HOD and chairman. They make the syllabus in order to understanding upcoming era. The add subject like film studies that in whole Odisha in only 2 University. One is Bargarh University and another one is our university. There are semester exam in every 6 month in 3 years course. Questions are not that much tough. Faculties are supportive also.

Remarks:

Yes, my college was most of positive side. I had some good experience with good teachers and some with some bad teachers. But overall it was a good experience. i would recommend every one if you want to join. do it.
