Remarks

It was online counseling where u have to choose your courses according to your preference and they will a lot you seat according to the marks I got. We have to pay a counseling fee. The criteria were that the student date of birth should be between 1999 to 2003 and the minimum marks required in 12th was 55% aggregate of physics, chemistry, and maths.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I took computer science engineering because I like programming and web designing stuff. I was quite focused on this course from my 10th. The faculty to student ratio is about 1:35. All the faculty members are very well-qualified professors. Maximum is phd's. each semester consists of 2 unit tests and one final exam. It is a bit tough academically but it's good to compete in such an environment.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There are approx 10 -15 foreign companies that book interns and sometimes these interns are even made permanent by the company after their course is complete. There is a small con here that people who take Cs and IT or ECE het more opportunities compared to students from another department.

Placement Experience

4.5

From the 3rd year itself, students are eligible for placements and the placement record is the best thing about this college. The avg package is 5-5.5 lpa. There many big companies like google, microsoft, amazon, wipro, paypal etc who visit for recruitment. 100% student gets placed. I am planning to do MBA after my btech and preparing for the same.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite reasonable to me who got catagory 1 fees. It is a bit expensive for those who did not secure good rank. The college has 100% placement record and the opportunities is increasing every year. Most opportunities are offered to the computer and IT branch.

Campus Life

5

2 fest are organized every year in this college. Riviera and Gravitas. Rivera is one of the biggest cultural fests organized by a college in India. Gravitas is a technical fest that encourages people to showcase their talent in the tech field. Vit is the largest producer of journals in India leaving behind IITs and NITs. It has a huge library and a digital library. There are more than 100 clubs and chapters in vit. And it has a great sports facility in which some are free to use and some are paid.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostels are quite good here with 1,2,3,4,5,6 bed facilities with both ac and non ac type. Hostel fees is a little high but the facilities provide are very good. It has some sports facilities too. The mess provided is the best thing here. It has veg, nonveg, and special category food. Registration and all is online with first come first service procedure

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.
