NIT Raipur, B.Tech, Biotechnology

Reviewed on Jul 27, 2021(Enrolled 2019)

Remarks

I applied some biotechnology NIT colleges and got a seat in NIT Raipur. Eligibility of minimum 12th class marks are required. During counselling day, we all need to submit prescribed documents in the prescribed format in the official website should be submitted.

Course Curriculum Overview

The term exams are conducted time to time without any delay. All the exams were organised in a very strict environment and we can have a nice environment during exams and the exams were little bit tricky and difficult to attempt but with good practice we can succeed in them.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some of the companies in the state offer internships for the students. In that some are unpaid and some of them will pay according to type of work. Popular companies like Tata steel, chhattisgarh power supply offer internships to the students.

Placement Experience

Every year, campus recruitment drives were organized and many students will be placed in their desired companies. Most of the visited companies were IT based and mining and Metullargy industries. Average package of teh students placed is around 7 lpa. As I am a biotech guy, I am planning to go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

In campus, we have student section where we can clear all our doubts regarding scholarships and other extra curricular activities. They can assist student in a friendly manner and inform students about the scholarship in advance. We can get NSP, FFE and some more scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

Social groups like NSS, NCC, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and several clubs include Technocracy-the technical committee,Shourya, Raaga, nrithyam, abhinayta, E cell and I cell and some of these maintain their official sites.

Hostel Facilities

Major problem of our college is that students do not have adequate hostel rooms for their stay. So every year according to merit basis, hostel seats are allotted and students need to submit the form to the hostel committee. Remaining students can have hostel facility near by our college.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year
