Remarks

The admission process was good. I didn't avail any quota. The admission process could be attended from any campus of Manipal whichever was convenient. The admission was fast and effortless. The rank required for my course was roughly 6000.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty was good for this course. There were 3 classes for a total of roughly 240 students in my course (EEE) the exams were semester wise and they were a bit tricky sometimes. There were tests every 3 weeks which went till the end semester for exams.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies that came for internships were Microsoft and Amazon. They offered a stipend of roughly 20000 per month and amazon provided the same. There was a high conversion rate for PPO as well. They were mostly software jobs.

Placement Experience

We were eligible for placements after the 7th semester and people were eligible for internships from the 5th semester also. The highest package was offered by Amazon and Microsoft. It varied from 16-20 lakh. Plan right now is to work as of now.

Fees and Financial Aid

There wasn't any fee hike as such in my duration of studies. There wasn't any scholarship or financial assistance for me and I didn't receive any stipend. There were no hike policies for hostels also as it was in BITs and other colleges.

Campus Life

4.5

There were 2 fests. One tech fest and one cultural fest which happens alternate semesters. The library is very big and the availability of books will never be an issue. The classrooms are well equipped with all the features needed.

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate 5 out of 5. I specially enjoyed being involved in activities like ego and Rns, which made my college life more engaging. College provides good atmosphere, and I got good friendship in the college.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. MIT manipal - a complete review(hostel, nightlife, fees, academics)

I chose this college because this was the best option I had among others that I got accepted into. Comparing to others, MIT has much lesser intake and a much better campus life. I made it into all the private colleges that I applied to, but not colleges like NIT and IIT Other colleges I got accepeted into are BITS, VIT, CET, LPU, Thapar. I didnt choose BITS because of the higher fees.
