Remarks

I choose this college because this is one of the best colleges and universities in the overall world which provide very fine knowledge with best teachers as I want to do B.tech in CSE yes it is very hard to Crack JEE- Main but like me, if you also work hard you will also crack it easily. All the knowledge related to our college IIT Madras you will get from the College Dunia website.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum faculty in my college is one of the best with overall India with 600 faculty and 1250 administrative staff who were graduated from abroad colleges also, the student ratio is not accurate it is 350 - 400 students in the overall B.tech CSE branch the Entrance is very tough but internal exams were medium if you study were well then you pass it very easy.

Class Size: 400Course Fees: INR 8008000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I have done an internship in my 3 Years of B.tech in CSE as a Software Developer in Gameloft company was my work is to develop software every month with little changes as I am under my training session. with INR 40000 per/m salary

Placement Experience

12 Lacs is the basic salary for every student and the highest salary is approx 96.6 Lacs which is a very large amount as compared to fees of the colleges and yes there is campus placement available with 97% placement held in campus and outside the campus, there are unlimited jobs for IIT Graduates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is INR 8.08 Lacs rupees but this fess was for 4 years B. Tech in CSE like 2 Lacs per year fees and yes college also provide scholarship facility to there student but depending on their exam score, but if you can't able to paid fees then you can pay this through the help of Bank you can take education loan easily with less interest amount because your placement rate is also high.

Campus Life

the life of this IIT madras is very good and you can say excellent there is a full wi-fi for student and every person who work there, the quality of food is best ever, there is a playground so you can play, football ground, basketball ground, badminton and other game you can play, too much discipline is there there is also library every kind of books available some college fest name are:- SASTRA is the famous fest.

Hostel Facilities

20000 is the hostels fees include mess charge which is also a very cheap price as compared to the outside or private rooms I took college hostels, the food quality is also awesome with breakfast, lunch, Dinner and for NoNveg student it is also available in the week but only once.

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. More pratical exposure throught industry visits ,interactions ,internships and live projucts would help students connect classrooms learning with real industry requirements .

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

It is the Good college and got opportunities in the sports and other activities.

Likes

It is better than my old college and giving free food and place to sit in the college campus.
In sports they are also helping for dearness allowance for playing matches and travelling.
They are also giving us the space to study and ask doubts without any hesitation

Dislikes

Canteen is not good and it is very congested
Some of teachers are not coming to the classes properly and they are also not teaching properly
Home guard is the problem in college. They are always making issues while parking the vehicles

Course Curriculum Overview:

Studying Master of commerce is okay. The same thing and few same subjects which I studied in undergraduate. Classes are good and we are also having some gaps. Not a big difference and 1 or 2 subjects are new for us. I want to suggest that to give holiday after the semester exams. But not before that. It is quite difficult for us to study. It will be easy for us to ask doubts.

I applied to all NITs , VJTI, COEP etc but could not get into those due to cutoff of jee mains. I applied for this course in IIT Madras and as it had creteria that if you appeared for JEE Advanced you are elligible and hence I got admitted here . The Ultimate Real World Skill Learning Source : IITM BS Degree.

I didn't apply to any other colleges because I didn't find any better college which would give me such flexibility in terms of fee and course pace. I didn't applied so I didn't get rejected from anywhere. To get admission in my current college , I had to qualify a qualifier (entrance for this degree) exam which made me eligible for this exam. Only 12th class certificate was required which obviously I have with more than 60 % in maths. Cuttoffs are very easy to obtain. The cuttoff is according to category, for my catogery which is obc I had to obtain at least 40% marks but I get 82% marks and hence passed the qualifier and got the admission letter.
