Entrance Preview

JEE mains, I scored 157 marks. I chooses this college because it is the oldest not and got the India's 2nd largest campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Ceramic - before choosing it I don't know what was that but now I know very well. It is a new line and my nit is the only one to provide this. It is best for research like in the field of electro ceramics super conductor are there, in optical ceramics optical cables are there, many research can be done in nano ceramics also etc.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our nit being one of the best provides internship programme, since am a first year . So I don't know much about that but yes one of my senior told me that he got internship and many of them got in 3rd year if they are good enough to handle them.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

If we compare hostels with the big private colleges then yes not comparable to them but in 2000 rupees the services they provide are good especially the cleanliness, for that secretaries are elected from us only, yet the food quality I will say average but we got the good food menu and we can complain for betterment of that and also we can change the menu on decision of all.

Exam Structure

Exams mid sem after 2 months then end sem after 2 months with a contribution of 30- 50 in grade card, 20% is of TA I.e. teacher's assignment based on class tests , tutorials. Now labs, every working day we have 1 lab for which marks are given daily on the base of work and viva.

Admission

By clearing JEE mains exam which is known to everyone. The forms were released in December and I started preparation for this since class 11th, cut off for gen candidates this year was 100 and I got 157 which was good for me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.
