Remarks

VIT Vellore is a superb college, In this college student gets chance to learn a lot more. Btech- Students can take admission in Btech on basis of their JEE main score and the cut-off was not too high at my time.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Btech in mechanical engineering because the placement was superb and the student-teacher ratio was also good. All the teachers are highly qualified. Teachers are very helpful towards students and help students in every aspect.

Internships Opportunities

Students get a chance in their 7 or 8 sem. To appear for placement program and they also get a chance to do internships in big MNCs. Students can get a chance to lead the new. Projects introduce by companies with a good stipend.

Placement Experience

More than 200 companies visit. Per year and 90 percent, students got placed in big companies Avg. The package offered at my time was 8 lakhs and the highest package was 25 lakhs. Many companies like Wipro, HCL, Microsoft and many big companies visit our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are a bit high but there were scholarships and loan facility provided to students. At my time I also go for an Education loan from SBI. I got job offers from 8 companies then I got into HCL. Avg. The package is 8 lakhs.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very good you will never miss your home because there were several activities other than study in college like sports meet annual meet etc. Hostel Life is very fun I made a lot of memories.

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
