Entrance Preview

I appeared the entrance test by the university. I had completed my bachelors in Zoology as majors so I preferred to do my masters in Life Science.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is very good if you want to dive into scientific research field. The professors are good and helpful. They guide you to qualify national Level exams such as NET/Gate. The curriculum is designed so that you need not put extra efforts for NET/Gate exams. There are very good labs, library.

Placement Experience

1

There is no placement. After completing the course you ll have to look out for jobs. The course is a waste if you do not want to pursue research in future.

College Events

2.5

College celebrated many festivals such as Ganesh Puja and Saraswati Puja, Annual day, science day, Fortnight seminars, Alumni day.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I do not know of any scholarship/loan facility that is available.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good. University is located far away from town so its difficult to go to the town for petty things. Gender ratio is very good. There are several co curricular activities such as debates, essay competition, skit, seminars and all.

Admission

There was an entrance exam by the university where we had to answer 50 MCQs. This was followed by a viva voice of 15 minutes. Selection was based on career assessment, marks secured in the entrance test and viva voice. The result was notified in 45 days. The administration was good and the entire process was smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a student at AIPH University of Zoology Honors. My area of interest is zoology and the faculty members here are very supportive. So, I chose zoology as my core subject. There are specific faculties for every subject. All the faculties of our University are PhD professionals and their method of teaching is excellent. All the topics that are taught in the class are exam-oriented. The exams are conducted once every month. There are two mid-term and one end-term in each semester. The final year is mainly concerned with research proposals and seminars.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i want to study in details about the microorganisms present around us, how they harmful for us and how they are beneficial for us. And i also chose this course so that i can serve the society as a microbiologist. The faculty members are highly qualified, well-experienced, and very friendly. They did their post-docs in various recognized universities. They are all good and cooperative. The term exams are neither too hard nor too easy to pass.
