I took the entrance of manipal itself i scored 107. It is basically a better college than VIT or others as it has limited seats and you are given proper attention by the teacher as well as in the lab every person gets to perform it as because of having limited seats. I couldn't score well on JEE as well as in BITSAT. So, i basically had to choose between VIT and srm and manipal.

Internship is provided and there are exams for that i haven't yet applied for any so i am not aware of the specifics. But i know that there are exams within the college and people are placed and you can also apply for internships off campus.

I haven't yet opted for placements and also will not i am interested in pursuing higher studies i would also like to say that from what i have heard that it's okay not too good and not bad as well. But its towards a little disappointing from what i have heard this year. Though i did hear last year was much better so it keeps changing.

There's tech fest called tech tatva its good and lot of workshops and all are conducted its good but there's the cultural fest called revels it is a another thing another level it is of four days and you won't realise when they went by it's one of the best things about the college and everybody gets to participate. One way or other you also gain a lot of experience by participating and working for them.

Manipal is a little expensive but i would say but then it is better than the most other private colleges like Vit or Srm . Yes you have to pay a little more but then there is not management quota so you get in only on the basis of academics. It is 2.5 L for academic and the hostel fee varies from 50k to 1.5L. The mess fee is 40k for a year which is pretty good.

Exam structure is good and you have surprise exams that prepare you for the end sem exam we'll. You have to be on your toes but you do get to relax as well it's not excess of either it's pretty well balanced and is decent and helps you to actually understand the subject well .

Few of the faculties are really good but that's only the senior ones rest are average. Some of them are Ph.ds but that's again mostly the senior ones but yeah one good thing is that teachers to a class are allocated at random. So there's no discrimination that 2nd years won't be taught by senior ones every sem. You'll have a few good one and few not that great ones but then that's why nptel is there.
