Remarks

I didnt apply in another college except for this one and I didn't avail any quota as well because it was not needed. Cutoffs were announced by the Delhi University and they were based on our board results in class 12th and my percentage met the admission criteria so i got admitted in the college. There was no counseling day in the college but an online orientation was conducted

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course is ba economics and it is which is useful nowadays as it helps in understanding the economy of the country. From the early ages of my life, i had wanted to become an economist. The student-to-teacher ratio is about 15:1 which is very good according to me. The faculty is very qualified and they help the students understand all the concepts very usefully. Exams are conducted twice every year as instructed by the Delhi University.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college belongs to the Delhi university so the fees of the college are very low and it is very affordable. There have been no fees hikes in the college as well for a long time because this is a part of a government organization. No scholarship or financial assistance is provided to get admission to the college which is very fair because the fees are already very low.

Campus Life

4

In our college, we have an annual fest as well as sports fests which is named TRGOVINA and students of many colleges come and participate in these. All kinds of books are available in the library and wifi connectivity is also present. Classrooms are also clean but chairs and tables are broken which is very disturbing. The playground is present on the campus and sports is highly promoted. Cricket and football are the top sports played.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
