Remarks

Shaheed Rajguru Colleg of applied sciences for women. I didn't have any reservations. Admission criteria maths must be the subject in your 11 and 12 class and minimum % in 60% . The admission process was online and it went very smoothly as all the details were given in the admission portal of Delhi University.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I like maths so I opted for it . The mathematics faculty of my college is awesome. As my college is an all-girls college. A total of 54 girls are there in this course. Most of the teachers have them M.Phil (doctorate) degree. And some are assistant professors. As our classes are online but our teachers are very helpful and friendly, the teaching method is very good. The exams are timed and it was easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are many companies like Verzeo and intern shala providing internship to students. And in II years our college conducts internship or more likely a research paper for the students and provide them certificate after the completion of the internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

From III semester students are eligible for placements. I don't know much about the placement. But many companies visit our college for hiring students. I will go for masters after my bachelor's degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is affordable as the fees is around 17k. For every year students, our college provides financial support to one student from each year student and from each department. Our college provides good placements it has its own placement cell, I am a II-year student so I don't know much about it.

Campus Life

4.5

Our college conducts an annual fest in the month of Feb-march. And also a technical fest TRAP in the month of last February. Our college has a big library and it contains all the books on all the courses it has and journals also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.
