The admission process of the Vellore Institute of Technology is very simple. The admission for B.Tech courses in the VIT university is based on the rank of student in the VITEEE exam. VITEEE is the entrance exam conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology for B.Tech courses admission. As per your rank in the VITEEE exam, you will be allocated the course. One year back admission to the Vellore Institute of Technology is based on JEE Mains Percentitle but from 2021 VIT is conducting entrance examinations for their courses. The lowest fee of VIT (Vellore) is 2,00,000 per annum and the highest cost is 5,04,000 per annum. As per your rank, you will get your particular fee details. There is no scholarship for cast category reserved students and this college is a private institute.

The annual fest is held in December or January month and it is absolutely great. In college, you will get the library for books you want to read. VIT is no.1 in sports events also. Almost all sports are there in VIT. Apart from study and daily routine VIT have many extracurricular activities to energized their student. There are many social groups made by students to make awareness in local areas. Swachta Abhiyan is one of the examples of social groups.

Hostel rooms are very neat and cleaned. If you want to get an AC room then you can have it. The beds in hostel rooms are 2 or 3 or 4 or 6. Those who want a room with one more guy can get a 2-bed room. Due to this covid pandemic, the hostels are closed right now. You can make inquiries at their official websites. The meal of hostel is very good as they provide breakfast early in the morning, lunch in the afternoon, some snacks at 4-5 PM and diner in 7-10 pm
