Remarks

I chose this Institute because it is one of the top ranked institutes in the state. It has highly developed laboratories and lot of research work goes on happening continuously. Also it has many clubs to take part in. Such as robotics club, satellite club, BAHA, SUPRA clubs, boat club, etc. The professors are well qualified and provide quality education along with practical exposure. The admission process was through the state level CET exam and going through the cap rounds. I had put this college at the top of other colleges such as VJTI while filling the form. The primary reason was that I preferred Pune over Mumbai. And even the rankings were better as compared with those of VJTI. I used many websites while selecting the college such as collegedunia.com.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I selected Production Engineering course because I had a fascination regarding cars and manufacturing of the cars. I wanted to learn more about different production processes and also learn of the industries. We had two semesters of internship which really helped to gain the industry exposure and practical knowledge. The faculty student ratio was also on par with around 1:10.Faculty were highly qualified through institutes such as IIT Bombay and Harvard university as well.

Internships Opportunities

5

I had a sandwich course. Which meant that we had to do a compulsory internship of 6month duration in our 5th and 8th semester. We had several internship opportunities. I did both my internships at Tata motors, Pune plant. I did projects on quality department. I worked in making different stations on the line as Zero defect stations.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for placements after passing third year. Campus recruitment drive is conducted wherein different companies come into the college and offer jobs to eligible candidates. Few of the companies which visited were Tata motors, Infosys, LnT, Godrej, OFSS, Asian paints, Bajaj, ITC, etc. The highest package offered to my course was around 10lpa and the average package was around 4.5lpa . Almost 50-60% of my batchmates got placed through these placements. My plans are to do a job after getting degree.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was around 85000 per year and hike was around 5-10% each year. There are many scholarship opportunities which can be availed by providing the relevant documents. These scholarships are both from the state government as well as from center government. I had got a internship at Tata Motors with a stipend. I did two internships there, each with a duration of 6 months. And later during the campus placements I got selected at Oracle.

Campus Life

5

Campus life of COEP is the best. There are numerous clubs both technical and non-technical ones. Technical clubs include robotics club, satellite club, BAHA-SUPRA clubs while non-technical clubs include debate club, arts and crafts, boat club and many more. Mainly three major events are organized in the college in a year viz. Mindspark, Zest and Impression. There is a huge central library which is easily accessible to everyone and also there are department libraries as well. Classrooms are big with projector system established and also blackboards available. There are ACs as well. This college has got its huge playground where many sport activities keep on happening. And also boat club have there special event called Regatta once a year.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel life was the best part of my life. I got friends here who stayed with me till I pass out and after that as well. Each year had a separate block of hostel. And each room was provided with multiple LAN ports for network connectivity along with a wifi router on each floor. One room accommodated 4 students. Also the mess was located within the hostel premises only and hence it saved lot of time. The admission to hostel was also through merit base.

Admission

No there weren't any GD or interview conducted during admission. But I had prepared for the interviews during my job interviews. I had read newspapers for the trending topics which proved to be very helpful during the GD.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
