Remarks

I applied for Kirori Mal College I haven't availed of any quota. It was based on percentage. It was totally online and everything went smoothly. KMC has a Variety of faces from different cultures and backgrounds, dressed in their own way. KMC is known for its diversification. It helps you to mingle up with different people from different cultures. Not only this when you enter KMC you will not only feel the essence of study but also the essence of extra circular activities. The crowd of the KMC (Definitely you have heard about the crowd of KMC) is Diverse . You will encounter with different societies within this College and the thing is that the societies are of bad quality these are societies for the students and also run by the students of the college and one more thing is that societies are funded by the college administration that is the best thing you need not to bother about the money you can simply invest yourself in these societies and you'll find difference in yourself

Course Curriculum Overview

5

the reason behind choosing Chemistry Honours as my course has a long history. The hard-core which I can tell you is that I am too much interested in Chemistry as it is a course which is too practical, even you can perform the small practical at your home so this the main reason.I developed my in Chemistry from my Class 9 onwards because I was blessed with the great teacher and I can never be able to give him something back he was in my life who mould me in such a way that I can never able to think about the other subject. As I have already mentioned that KMC is one the best college within India here Faculty if the Chem department is up to the mark. Specifically, if I talk about the ratio so the ratio is 1:50 and even 2:40 in case of practical. All the Faculty members are Ph.D. either from DU or from the renowned IIT. Their teaching method is also upto the mark. If you study regularly throughout the semester then you will not face any difficulty in clearing the exam and getting 1st rank is quite tough game

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Companies like Ernst and young, BYJU'S, KPMG DW Shaw, and many more arrive at this to recruit the Innovative and young minds of our country. These companies are quite interested in Kirori Mal College they get students who can act as a Sweet fruit for their College in one way or another. Apart from this here students have the experience of internship which acts as a cherry on the cake for these companies. There are more than 20 companies that come to KMC and gives placement to the students. The internship is related to Databases or a number of things it totally depends on your interests that in which zone you want to get an internship. Then simply you have to make contact with the Internship cell of the College and after some days you will get the internship of your interest. Now talking about the stipend which you get in your internship lie between 8000-15000 per month which is decent money for a student to carry on his /her livelihood in Delhi. Literally, I'm not aware of any projects

Placement Experience

4.5

The Highest package till now which is being offered in our College is 31 lakh but the placement is only for limited courses which include B.Sc Computer Science,B.com (Program) , B.Com (Honours). But apart from these courses, there is a few chances of getting placement because other courses are related to either Humanities or Science (Science graduate focuses more on Competitive exam, that's my personal observation). Overall our College is Lie in the range of GOOD in terms of placement that UT provides. We are eligible for placement from the starting of the 5th semester but we can start I internship from the 1st semester. There is an internship cell that helps in providing the link to start the internship. one of the students is elected as the president of the internship cell and there is one teacher also who maintains the decorum of the cell. I'm not aware of the companies properly. Highest package:31Lakhs Average Package:8-9Lakhs Percentage of people get placed:10-13%(not sure). clearing Comperitiveismygoal

Fees and Financial Aid

Not only Kirori Mal College but also the entire University of Delhi is quite affordable. There is no discrimination here on the basis of the financial condition of the students. There are a number of students from a poor backgrounds and also from very elite backgrounds but still, there is no space for discrimination policy within the students, even you will get your one the best friend from here. There is no fee hike policy. The fee of my College for the Chemistry department is 14,495 which is affordable for all. Talking about the scholarship: There are a large number of scholarships that are provided by the college to students from the background whose financial condition is not too good.A student whose family income is lesser than 4 Lakh per annum will have to fill the for a scholarship and then need to undergo a simple interview related to your financial condition and problems faced by you in the course of study. Also, there are scholarships from. On the University side depending upon your course you can take the benefit of them

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life of Kirori Nal College is extraordinary (Specifically for me it is much better than my expectations). There is more than 28 society within the Kirori Mal College itself so you can think yourself about the extra circular activities of the college. Numbers of events are organized by these societies after a short interval of time but literally, I took admission in Kirori Mal College just because of its name in the field of extra circular activities. I am part of the Hindi Debating society which helps me to develop not only in the sphere of knowledge but also helps me to gain confidence to speak in front of a huge crowd either physically or virtually and helps me to overcome my fear of public speaking. Fest is generally started from Feb till your semester exam. In our, there are more than 1.5 lakh books and journals. Classrooms are okay as it was built in 1954. Except for Kabbadi, you can play every sport. A society like The Players (Amitabh Bachan was also the part of this society MUSOCDEBSOC

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
