Remarks

I applied for CSE cyber security in 2019 and luckily got a seat. It was a rank-based counseling process based on the VIT exam. No, I didn't avail any quota. Rank-based criteria min rank around 150000. There were slots divided on the basis of rank for counseling days.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I had an interest in Cyber Security. 1:60 teacher to student ratio. The classes were disciplinary. Min qualification for a faculty is Ph.D. from an IIT. 2 times and they were quite hard to pass. CAT1 CAT2 Mid-Term.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

A good cgpa was essential for a good internship and many had coding rounds for the internships. Many companies came with offers from 20k per month to 1 LPA. Internships were good and depended on academic performance. Companies like adobe, dshaw came.

Placement Experience

4.5

3rd sem students are provided with internships. Many companies like Microsoft, dshaw, etc with offers of 1 lkm were made. Highest 2lkm and avg around 50000. 90% Startup or getting placed in a good tech company.

Fees and Financial Aid

3,00,000 per annum for the turion fees. and 1,50,000 per annum for hostel fees. No, I didn't get any scholarships. This was really expensive but is worth spending considering the infrastructure and facilities.

Campus Life

4.5

There were many fests and works shops organized regularly. The library was big too with daily newspapers and magazines. The classrooms were ventilated and light riched. All sorts of sports are of importance and proper equipment is available. Robotics club, Anime club.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

All sorts of basic needs were provided LIKE wifi, hot water, bathrooms. The meal was fine and provided 5 times a day including snacks. Room allocation is quite simple regarding the admission process.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
