Remarks

I have applied for NIT's and BITS and also SRM. My score was low to get a good NIT and For BITS I found that Fees were high and for SRM I found that VIT was good. In VIT if you are a state topper you get a 100% scholarship and if you scored in the top 50 you get a 75% scholarship and if you scored from 50 to 100 you get a 50% scholarship and if you scored from 100 to 1000 you get 25% scholarship. To get a CSE branch you need to be inside the top 2000. So for admission, there is an online exam called VITEEE and after that, you need to have counselling that is also online and then you need to make a wishlist.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is designed in the most unique way as there are FFCS through which you can choose your subjects, faculty and timings you want to study. The faculty is to student ratio is around 1:60 but all your doubts are cleared you can also visit the faculty after lectures. Exams are quite difficult and there are many exams 2CAT,! FAT many IPS and many PAT. So you get sufficent pratice.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Same companies that come for placement also gives internships that can be paid and also unpaid but the maximum number of time it's unpaid. Daily works include coding they distribute in various teams. So this will help also during placements. Companies like Amazon, HP, Microsoft and many more companies visit VIT.

Placement Experience

4

In CSE there are maximum placement companies like amazon, google, HP, Microsoft recruits student but for that, you need to have good CGPA. 90% of student gets placed and VIT also holds the record for max placement in Limca Book of record. If you want to do masters VIT can also help you in getting a masters degree through foreign universities.

Fees and Financial Aid

So the fee structure is based on phases. Different phase has different fees. Fees for phase 1 are the least and phase 5 is the highest. Fees for phase 1 is 200000 and for phase 2 is 300000 and for phase 3 is 350000 and for phase 4 it will be 400000 and for phase 5 it will be 500000.

Campus Life

4

Two big fests like gravitas and Rivera. Rivera takes place in February whereas gravitas takes place in November. So you get all the facilities in classrooms and all the instruments and machines you want.VIT has a football ground, Cricket field, 3 Gyms, Tennis court, Volleyball and basketball, swimming pool and much more. It competes with other teams all over India. Clubs like CodechefVIT, E2PC, Kshatriya, Ojas and more cultural and technical fest are there.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are many types of rooms like 2/3/4/6 bedded both AC and NON AC with different prices. The fees for 2 bedded is around 100000 and that for 3 bedded is 750000 and that for 4 bedded the fees are 50000 and that for 6 bedded its only 45000. It also includes 3 types of mess with prices 50000, 55000, 65000 for veg, NON-veg and special mess. The food quality is better than the mess of different colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
