Remarks

I have applied for Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. I applied to take admission in a bachelor course (B.A). There was cut off according to marks and after including all the quotas or criteria means which provides student extra marks in their admission. I got admission to the last cut-off because some of my marks have been cut due to Haryana resident and some because of my subjects. But at last I got admission. There was also the checking of the original marksheet of 10th and 12th marksheet. At the time of counseling each and every student have to take their original marksheet and other documents like some I'd proofs e.g. Aadhaar card, Domicile certificate (Residence certificate),10th &12h marksheet. After checking all the documents students have to submit their fees. I paid about 12500 annual fees. Then they will be given fee slip by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Exams held at a semester system means every six months or in 2 terms. Odd semester exams were to be held in the month of November-December and Even semester exams held in March-April. Students have to score a minimum of 28% marks for passing in exam. But it is a good point that students can pass easily just by attending regular classes and reading books. Exams are not a burden on students.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.
