VIT is a place to grow and a place to learn

I applied to MIT, Manipal; Srm, Chennai, and VIT, Vellore and got into all three of them. But after talking to seniors and reading a lot of reviews I got to know that VIT Vellore CSE is the best option for me. I applied to General Quota. The minimum Marks for eligibility criteria is 75% in Boards with English as a major subject. The admission process is very clean and easy. I got my rank and on the basis of rank, they call me for counselling and give me the best preferable seat for myself depending on what order I have filled my choices.

I have been interested in coding for a very long and want to pursue this field only. Here in VIT, we have a batch of 60 students and there are really a lot of teachers in Vit about 3000+ faculty. All faculties are PhD qualified at least. We have term exams every two months and have three kinds of exams, CAT1, CAT2 and FATS.

Around 200+ companies come for internships with PPO's and offer a huge amount varying 20 k-1 lakh per month, which is pretty decent. Students should have basic knowledge and some skills apart from academic studies to easily grab these offers.

Students can sit for internships from the third year and can sit for placements from the fourth year. placements are really very good This year VIT has bagged a 75 lakh per annum offered from Dyte- VIT's own startup. Even Vit Bagged many Microsoft packages too. They are well decent and have an average package of 7-8 LPA.

There is very little fee hike procedure here, there they have already divided the fees structure into 5 categories and have a very little surge in fees every year. VIT provides its own scholarship to the top 100 students in the VITEEE exam and after that students have an option to avail scholarship based on the CGPA too, for that student have to score really very good GPA.

Campus life is great. the campus is so green and very happening. There in VIT we have one of the largest libraries and have never faced issues of unavailability of books. Good classrooms with fans. HEll lot of sports facilities. there are around 100+ clubs for almost each and everything. a person can join any number of clubs based on his interests.

Hostels are great, well cleaned. Proper facilities, it is done on the basis of CGPA and from the VIT own portal. Higher the CGPA higher the chance of getting a room of your choice. most preferably the best room.
