Remarks

It was through cut off basis. Du releases its cut offs and the one who meets the criteria may apply for the course. As I am a science student therefore Delhi University will only consider my main 3 subjects which can be physical chemistry math/ biology. The admission process was online due to covid. All the process was online and till now my classes are going online both theory and practicals. Delhi University does give more than 7 cutoffs, under which you can apply for your desired course.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a microbiologist that is why I have chosen this course. There are like 48 students in my class. And in no. There are 15 teachers which are provided to us for our 4 subjects. All the teachers are highly qualified and all the faculty have done PhD. There are 6 semesters are in total, 2 in each year.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 8365 per year

Internships Opportunities

So many companies reached to the students for the interview. For many different positions such as Account - 5 lakhs per annum, Medical junior engineer - 8 lakhs per annum, Data analyst - 8 lakhs per annum. And many more jobs were offered. Also, mass recruiting was done by the TCS. In which 300 Students got the job in TCS.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester onwards students may apply for the placements, many placements cells and companies visit our college in the month of May and June. Last year the placements were organised online due to covid norms Companies like TCS, WIPRO, AMAZON, SAMSUNG, ONE COGNIZANT. contacted our college for the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure is very affordable It's 24000 rs only for the whole 3 years programme. Students who come under sc/st/BPL/PWD/ph category may apply for the scholarship and there are different scholarships for orphan students also.

Campus Life

There are many social groups in our college Such as 1. National service scheme (NSS) - it works for the social welfare of the society and it also runs a blood bank where you can donate blood and receive blood. 2. Paritantra the eco club - this club takes care of plants and organises forestation programmes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Some knowledge some confusion

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

This college was no.1 in my CUET preference list. I did few other courses for safer side but this course as well college was my top choice as it covers a lot of areas which are taught in MBBS and is quite interesting. Delhi University has 3 colleges for Biomedical Sciences, in which ANDC is the top college in terms of ranking that's why out of all three colleges this was my first choice. A few other options that I kept for me was microbiology, biochemistry in colleges such as Gargi and Deshbandhu. The college accepts your scores from CUET in subjects biology, chemistry and physics. The acceptance is done on the basis of your scores as well as your preference list. As this college was first on my preference list, I didn't get to face any rejection. The cutoffs for my admission year of 2024 was around 425+ for general category....Read More
