Remarks
First of all, the candidate must register himself/herself under WBJEE Board, after Examination check rank, and proceed for counseling. In choice filling, you choose your preferable colleges (i.e if you want to get admission to Asansol Engineering College fill the form with your preferable branches) and branches you want. After counseling, you will get colleges as per what rank you secured. If you get AEC then visit the college with your parents and all the documents i.e HS Marksheet, MP Marksheets, Domicile Certificate, Character Certificates, etc and if you are Economically Backward and if you secured the college with TFW rank then you will also carry Income certificate given by Gazetted A officers. After this process, you will be a part of Asansol Engineering College.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am very interested about Computers and Softwers to study more about this it is necessary to choose the Information Technology or Computer Science branch.So I have choose this course.In my college there is moreover 150 faculty members and over 3000 plus students here and our college is spreading its shine over 23 years.The most of our faculty members are Phd. degree holder and some of them are Engineer itself ( for Special Engineering Courses) .Their theching style is most efficient and friendly. Our college is affiliated with MAKAUT as per our university regulation there is 4 class test in a semester.Accept this our teachers gives more problems and assigments to shap our revisions.If you follow our teachers revision method it is easy to clear Class Tests.
Internships Opportunities
Basically, I will not go for an Internship so I can't clarify this section but I know that many other companies that give opportunities to the students for internships purpose.
Placement Experience
From 5th and 6th sem students get placed in a company. In our college one of the student got haired into BYJUS for 10 LPA. Almost 97% of students got placed from in campus placement . There are around 150 plus companies visiting our campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
Asansol Enginnering College is such an affordable college, there is no extra costs for anything. Even our college have a Student Welfair Committee , there our respected faculty members are willing to help eligible student to get scholarships such as SVMCM , NSP, Okkashree , Input , Pragati ,etc. On the other hand in the final year many many Companies like TCS, Amazon , IBM , Wipro , Cognizant etc visits our college campus for Placements.
Campus Life
In our college there is an annual fest called JIS SAMMAN is held on the college campus and there are many sports events held many times in a year.In our Central Library there are lot of Books .There is many clubs like Cultural Club, Coding Club, Hardware Club many more.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel is divided into 5 parts , there is 4 boys hostel and one girls hostel along from boys hostel. In the hostel room you will get one bed, one study table etc. and your essintials you must bring from your home as from COVID-19 situation, before it is given from college.The quality of the meal is good and tasty. For Hostel availability there are some teachers informed you may get help from them.
